gakgupta Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Except Kohli coming in for GillBumrah for Siraj Bhuvi & Y. chahal sharing the 4th bowling spot depending on the condition Kuldeep for 3rd bowling spot. Sent from my Lenovo A7020a48 using Tapatalk
SK_IH Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I want to see Pant in the squad. And Vijay Shankar should be back up of 4-5 and not Pandya.

Pollack Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) Rohit Dhawan Kohli KL Rahul / Shankar (No one except Rayudu has done well here anyway and I don't want Rayudu) Kedar Pant Pandya Kuldeep Chahal/ Bhuvi Shami Bumrah Dhoni (leech gonna stay anyway) Edited February 3, 2019 by Pollack Mosher, velu and SK_IH 2 1

So, same line up with 4 changes. Okay. WeStMiDz and express bowling 2
bowl_out Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 This should be the squad.. Going with Rayudu at 4.. Looks like he's here to stay till the WC... Want to watch Shankar's performance for a few more matches.. I've been saying he is Jadhav's back up in the squad.. He needs a couple of more solid innings to make a case.. rohit dhawan kohli rayudu dhoni jadhav pandya bhuvi kuldeep chahal bumrah dk shami two of shankar/jadeja/pant
GautiMaan Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I wouldnt mind seeing the same XI with the swap of Kohli for Gill. With the decline of Dhoni,we need more cover in the batting department. We've always had a strong top order but the times when we've been truly formidable are when we've packed the side with batsmen(Natwest,World Cup 2011).We've had Kaif and Raina at 7,Compare with 2015 where Jadeja batted at 7.
Clarke Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 (edited) Rohit Dhawan Kohli Rayudu Dhoni Jadhav Hardik Kuldeep/Shankar/Krunal/Bhuvi Chahal Shami Bumrah This is gonna be the playing XI, let's learn to accept that. Edited February 3, 2019 by Clarke velu 1
philcric Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 No, bowling is light. 4 bowlers need to be specialist wicket-taking bowlers ... Bumrah, Shami, Kuldeep, Chahal/Bhuvi (based on pitch) 5th bowler is Pandya. 6th is Jadhav. Shankar if he gets opportunities and plays well in the coming few matches, he could be selected in the squad. He could be back up for Jadhav (no.6 bat, no.6 bowler) or one of the middle order bats (Rayudu, Karthik etc.). But for that, Shankar needs to have a few more really good games. velu 1
Tibarn Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Go for broke with the 4 best wicket-takers we have: Bumrah, Kuldeep, Shami, Chahal. 3 Best batsmen: Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli WK: Dhoni That is 8. 2 All-rounders: Pandya and Jadhav So a spot for 1 batsman is all that is left: most probably Rayudu. velu and SK_IH 2
