Similarly a simple google search will throw so many results of women raped and paraded naked or with slippers because they allegedly praised BJP or Left somewhere. Believe me CPM too is being persecuted by Mamata, most of their supporters have left the party in the last 5 years.

No probs there, he called a spade a spade and there is truth in many of his comments about Hinduism and caste system. But at least unlike most others he didn't shy away from letting out his undiplomatic thoughts about Islam, Christianity, 370, Kashmir etc, he was a fair guy. Even controversial topics he never avoided, that's a true intellectual cum liberal apart from being a legendary philosopher and social reformer. A pity he never got the respect he deserved until many years after his demise. In fact Congress had many such outstanding leaders those days, all sacrificed to elevate the dynasty, starting from Nehru, peaking during Indira's reign and continuing even today. Without the dynasty it would have been a different party today with many capable leaders all across India, and India would have been a better version of herself surely.
