Lol he's not fit, but hes not injured as the board claimed to send him back. He is by far one of their best batsman, I don't know why they would give up on him in the middle of the tournament for fitness when they selected him in the first place. They don't have any better options than him. When he gets going , he is very destructive.

Don't think you need to be super fit for this sport. Doubt players like Inzi and sachin would have been what they are today...

This story makes absolutely no sense. Bunch of hoopla if you ask me.why would they willingly drop this tubby when is can take the game away from an opposition. He is very much capable of that. He was never consistent

I think his keeping was quite poor in the last couple of games  However, such a decision should've been before the World Cup.  Poor guy is seen crying after his omission in the middle of the WC.

If he wasn't fit then why select him in the first place? They select him and send him back citing an injury when he infact claims he is healthy. The guy is easily their best and most destructive batsman. I feel sorry for the guy. He's basically crying now because of his omission, saying he doesn't even feel like playing cricket anymore after this. I understand he is not the most fittest guy, but everyone knows that before itself, at least if he was omitted from the squad it would've given him the determination to work on his fitness, but sending him back in the middle of a WC tournament is just heartbreaking.

There is some corruption and drama surely in ACB as they announced and changed the captain last minute too before World Cup squad was announced. Shahzad is bit of a freak for them who has failed and his attitude tells me he is probably nuisance for the board as he might be rude to them as he talks pretty much straight forward and that might not go with the management, so they decided to call him back. Whatever it is, you can't call a player back after first picking him the squad. Surely there is more to it, some history between him and board is the issue for this I feel.

His keeping has becoming a major liability 

If averaged 50 plus at 100 SR fair enough, but he has failed more often than not with bat

 

But his keeping, especially to spinners has been horrible, doesn't attempt anything down the leg, and dropped several regulation catches due lack.of dexterity
