I want India to knock the poms out of the WC,for 4 years they billed themselves as the favorites for the WC but they bottled it as always when it comes to crunch time.

What will happen if Eng loses this, but wins rest of the games ?

Man, Eng surely are in huge trouble here.

Each Team - playing each other is probably going to save them

How many games do they have left? Can they make it if they win them?

They start favourites against both. NZ have been very hot and cold throughout the tournament and are lucky to stay unbeaten. India have middle order issues and Dhoni/Shankar to deal with.  Of course if Pakistan lose tomorrow to New Zealand, then England only need to win 1 match out of 2. New Zealand are far more likely to beat Pak than England.

Thats the thing it wont be easy. Facing NZ n IND in conditions helpful for opposition under pressure can prove to be to much

They go through. Assuming England lose this, they have 2 games left and have 8 points. Max Points: 12.

Pakistan are on 5 points and can only get to a max of 11 points from 3 matches.

what about Bangladesh?? they are at 7 points and if they win against Pakistan they would go to 9.

If Eng beat both Ind and NZ they will qualify with 12 points. If they beat one among Ind/Nz they will end up with 10 points and will have to hope that Pak SL or Ban dont get to 11 points

Not really. With 1 more win, they will still get to 10 points. Pakistan will have to win all 3 matches in that case...Afghanistan sure they will beat; but NZ and Bangladesh won't be easy to say the least.

I actually like the English team. Stokes, Buttler, Bairstow are exciting to watch. But they overdid the big scoring thing and became one dimensional with dependency on roads. The commentators went into overdrive about how great the team is and turned off many a neutral fan who liked their entertaining brand of cricket.

They would have to beat India. I don't see that happening. Our bowling is too good for Bangladesh 9 out of 10 times.
