Did not see it live but there appears to be s faint edge. The ultra edge shows a spike at the point where bat and ball just cross

Ball brushes the pad, not bat. Spike is of that.

Earlier frame if you pause it shows a spike where the ball is passing the bat. At the frame, you cannot see the pitch b/w the bat and ball as well .... I would count it as a faint edge

There is no conclusive evidence to over turn the decision ..Even on field umpire was surprised .Their umpires don't folllow their own rules .

It is conclusive. The ultra edge shows a spike and bat is not near the pad nor it is hitting the ground. If you pause the frame where the ball and bat connect a) Ultraedge shows a spike, b) you cannot see a gap b/w bat and ball

at the first fame, both bat and pad are together.  you cannot convincingly say it hit the bat or pad.  On-field decision was not out and there is no conclusive evidence, on-field decision stands.  These are the rules of DRS.

had it hit the bat, spike would have been more pronounced.

Good to see that you can now see the spike too!

Every one can see the spike but spike is there because it hit the pad and not the bat.  spike of the bat would be more pronounced.
