Stradlater Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 I would go for Mikail Hassan. Seems to be the most accomplished of the lot.
philcric Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 1/68 for tracer bullet so far. Captain Wrogn - I find it baffling. BCCI Source - This is dangerous. MSK Prasad - Shastri still the best. Other coaches WIPs. Dhoni - Process > Result Rohit - I will follow ICF.
rtmohanlal Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 (edited) hope dumb ass moron drunkard sastri be thrown away for ever. This pathetic moron's incompetency of not selecting 'Shami & Kuldeep' & selecting that mediocre kartik(when people who can bat long was the need for that pitch) cost us the semi.Hardik's lack of relative match practice(caused by that edulji) too was a vital blow. Hope these moron parasites sastri, edulji along with joker msk get thrown out for ever . Edited August 4, 2019 by beetle Jimmy Cliff 1
Suhaan Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Shastri should withdraw his application as he has great chance of winning Bigg Boss this year Would be fun to watch him in Weekend ka War Salman k saath?
rtmohanlal Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 the legacy of this team management is selecting 2 candidates for middle order mainstays namely Jadhav & Rayudu, proclaiming midway in the media that Rayudu is the inevitable candidate for one of the slots, neglecting Rayudu completely once the world cup started neglecting his decent record in ENG altogether, neglecting the other candidate Jadhav midway thru the tournament and not picking him when his need was most felt in the semi.So much for the expertise of the morons Sastri & Kohli that despite knowing that NZL is not that much a great batting team , pitches would get slowing down in the later half there by making batting difficult & scoreboard pressure would be felt in chasing even if it is a comparatively lower score because of it being semi, they chose the slogger kartik & neglected Jadhav(who at least had the experience of anchoring & succeeding in tough chases) .
express bowling Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 I am not fully happy with any of the applicants.
express bowling Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 (edited) Why so many votes for Moody. !!!!! The gentle giant fills the SRH team with trundlers like Sandeep Sharma, Sidharth Kaul, Khaleel etc. Khaleel, when he was thought to be an exciting young fast bowler, got to play just 1 game in IPL 2018. After he lost pace in 2019, he got many games. He does not seem that inclined towards picking youngsters in SRH either. Very much like Kohli who too favours TTFs instead of exciting new talent. Archer, Rabada etc. have done great this time around. There have been top performing quick bowlers in every season.

diga Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Not many applicants according to this article on Ganguly... Seems that Kohli-shastri nexus has kept a lot of good candidates away Quote "Going by the applicants, I don't see any heavyweight names," he said. "I heard Mahela (Jayawardene) would apply but ultimately he didn't... There are not many big names who have applied for the coach's job. Ultimately I don't know what the panel will decide. They have been around for a while. "We will see how big the term they will give. Not many names who have applied. Whoever they feel is good they should do it." https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/27309328/sourav-ganguly-wants-coach-india-future

coffee_rules Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 CAC says no good candidate, not keen on foreign coach, Shastri to continue. Is it Kohli/Shastri PR machinery at work? http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/70553582.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst
rtmohanlal Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 COA , CAC , ABC, BCD ......except for the legendary Kapil dev, all the other oppertunistic frauds need to caught by the scruff of neck given hard slaps on faces and kicked out of Indian cricket influence for ever for the sake of Indian cricket , especially that pig andiulji .Otherwise huge disappointments like the CT final loss , world cup semi loss are the order of the day in the coming days for the millions of ardent fans all across the nation .

The crickets from the 80's have this anti-foreign mindset, a by-product of the era when India as a society and economy hadn't yet opened up to the outside world. I still remember Sunny and Kapil raising objections to Greg Chappell's appointment even before he took charge.
