Whole process is flawed..Why let the current coach to apply for future as well, If he was good enough then let him continue and extend his contract, atleast this way other applicants wont atleast try for that..

But very likely that Shastri will get an extension.. These guys are spineless.. Shastri and Kohli will continue to ruin the team in the shorter formats.

Shastri should continue and Kohli too.This nonsense that Rohit is better captain is ridiculous, this is not IPL.Rohit is vice captain and senior member that should be good enough for him.Kohli the captain was fine , it was Kohli the batsman who let everyone down.

yup and mahela was strategically very good captain and this team needs some one like that in dressing room

Whoever comes in as coach have to make these things their priority 

 

1) Team absolutely above any corrupt practices like Dhoni/Virat screwing the team including a golden opportunity to win the world cup for brand endorsement money. 

2) The only criteria for success should be winning test series in AUS/SA/England

3) New player/match winner introduction in each season

4) Improvements in issue areas like ODI middle-order now and of course continued excellence in bowling in both test and ODI by having a good pool of 7/8 bowlers who can win you matches.

The only fear i have with moody n hesson that they wont be to strong for kohli. 

Its high time we have a strong coach n selector
