In the video, one can see that a police personnel reasons with India Today group journalist Mausami Singh that since Srinagar is a defence airport, clicking pictures and shooting videos is strictly prohibited at the facility. No but they are well within their rights to detain miscreants like her. And they didn't slap anyone, they covered the camera lens with their palms, shoved away the mikes etc which is standard protocol for a defence airport. They don't allow photography in Dabolim airport because it is used by defence personnel, will they allow it in Srinagar? In fact captain announces after touchdown....that no camera, video recording will be permitted in airport premises.
