Popular Post zen Posted August 26, 2019 Popular Post Posted August 26, 2019 As someone who likes books, I challenged myself to write one too. The result is the novella below under my pen name: It has released in some markets, while in others, it will release tomorrow. It can be read for free on Kindle Unlimited on Amazon. If you get an opportunity, do check it out. Below is the Synopsis: Quote In late nineteenth-century British India, the Swordsman is recruited and groomed by the Order of the Wolves to battle a cunning and deadly enemy. At stake are India’s cultural heritage and the fight for its independence. Against the backdrop of the third-highest mountain in the world, Kanchenjunga, The Early Years chronicles the transformative journey of a sheltered boy of unknown origin becoming the formidable Swordsman who wields his sword against General Dier, a mass murderer, and Louis Short, a cannibal with metal teeth. The Swordsman’s Tale, a novella by Zenodamus, is the window to a universe where spirituality combines with martial arts, pristine forests hold centuries-old secrets, anecdotes carry a dose of magical realism, and ancient philosophies guide the moral compass. maniac, Stradlater, Tibarn and 7 others 10

Great going. How did you get started? How long did it take. It would be interesting your process from start to finish. Cheers Btw, since General 'Dier' is mentioned, it is worth noting that Udham Singh hunted him down for the revenge of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre that occured in Amritsar in 1919.

The process is similar to launching a new product. Do research, create content, beta test it (received a thumbs up), revise, brainstorm on the packaging (cover design), and so on. There were two "Diers" - O'Dwyer and Dyer. The story takes place in Northeast, where the story Dier is hunted down by the Swordsman. There are a couple of massacres in the book as well. How long did it take you to write it? Convinced myself that my goal is for people to read it so have tried the promotion for two days Main thing was to get the storyline in order in my head. I worked on multiple themes ranging from esoteric philosophy to this one. At times, I would focus on one subject and then another. Go in one direction, then change it

Biggest procrastinator. You have to make use of the time when you are in the zone. At times, I sat in front of my laptop for 12 hours continuously on weekends when in the zone When I could not write (distractions) I focused on doing research - for e.g. there are certain weapons in the story which I had to learn about. I also had to visualize action sequences In the end, it felt like completing the uphill ride of Tour de France Edited August 31, 2019 by zen
