Rayudu was way more quality and deserving than Dube for sure. The guy was an u-19 star, a domestic performer, IPl star for 2 big franchises.

 

Even did ok at the end of his international career in terms of stats. Sure was average overall.

 

Will end up with a much more fulfilling career than a flash in the pan like Dube.

 

So not sure what brining Rayudu to that conversation will accomplish. He is leagues ahead of Dube.

Chahar selection is because of his excellent strike rate in the PP. I applaud our selectors for realising that but this is where it gets tricky . Chahar relies on swing with the new ball and Australia is the worst place for swing after England. Only at Perth does it swing a fair bit. So is it really a good decision considering where the WT20 s going to be played?

Dube has performed in Domestic n A games.....not my problem if ur in denial

Another reason even with rayudu we found his problem after giving him chances n ur not going crazy for someone who just played 2 games. Didnt dhoni struggle to time the ball in his 1st 3 games
