Ashok Sharma, Akash Singh and now this Hemant, plus they have Nagarkoti and Khaleel as well. But Tanvir and Aniket are 2 senior bowlers due to whom they all won't get chance. These kids need to do an Arjun Tendulkar to get noticed. Mosher and raki05 2 Link to comment

Yes i do think the same . Almost all freak quicks have this hyper extension which makes them bowl quicker than a bowler with straight arm rotation , Plus balls come at you rapidly by these type of bowlers and that extension helps get bounce too from goodish length. Looks malnourished and hoping he gets a good coach & a good franchise. Will be happy if comes good atleast in short format. express bowling, raki05, nsareen and 1 other 1 3 Link to comment

To hurry simeone in nets or clubs different than in Ranji or IPL. No? Ball trajectory can vary laterally in length and horizontally with swing and line. Change of pace and high pace obviously impacts reaction timing. Seam positioning does present some dramatic lateral movement in some conditions. Anytime a bowler presents these movements while giving batsmen less time to react they are fast bowling. Otherwise they are so called medium pace bowling. raki05 and Chakdephatte 2 Link to comment

What's your criteria? Are most of them exceptionally talented? Or just Ranji level potentials? Fast bowling is more than just speedguns. If there is a genuine fast bowling talent then he will picked up by some Ranji or IPL team. Link to comment

putrevus
45 minutes ago, MultiB48 said: Yeah why not, even guys like vettori does it,then why can't these rubbish ranji teams. Most of them never win anything and go through the motions every season but pretend as if they have such high standards. Who has vettori selected based on social media speed gun? Because it is still a sport that is played with a certain setup. Every team uses speed guns but they don't select players based on some social media posts. Link to comment
putrevus
29 minutes ago, MultiB48 said: He didn't mention any names, but said he uses social media for scouting. Ranji teams hardly pick guys based on pace, they are all highly skilled bowlers. Who said IPL teams are not using them for scouting. Vettori was part of many IPL teams as a player and coach. So if he thought anyone was good , those teams would have surely considered them.THome grown uncapped players might be cheapest for any IPL team. You still need to be able to bowl 20 plus overs in day. We don't know if they are not seeing these guys. I agree to some extent recommendation and bribing goes on at all levels. But I honestly think if there is a great talent in fast bowlers most coaches will fast track those bowlers. Coming thru ranks is easiest way to get to Ranjis but now with IPL I am hoping these talents are not being missed out. Link to comment
