South Africa can still beat them though. Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje etc is a potent attack. They just need their batsman to not implode. 

with ABDV and Amla gone, they are a B grade batting lineup.

England record in Australia is almost Pakistani-esque. They must have lost atleast 25 test matches in the last 25 years.

NZ is finding  out big boys club is hard to breach. They have had soft schedule and don't play that many challenging overseas tours.

Aus batting isnt that strong but their top three are so solid that they almost always give a good platform for their world class bowling.  If a team can get Warner, Smith and Labu out cheaply, the other bats are pretty ordinary . Problem is 2 out of these three almost always end up performing

Caught the highlights for today. Wagner again terrorized Smith with the short stuff. 

What is it about him? He doesn't really show on the speed guns whatsoever..lower 130s mostly but how can he trouble batsman so much with the short stuff. He is very predictable as well. The batsman should be well prepared with all those bowling machine thundering down 90mph snorters and his speeds seem medium pacer at best.

Combination of his action, shorter height and being a left armer and being aggressive, similar to Shami, ball gets to you quite quicker and of a length it bounces

Pretty poor to play Boult and Santner. They should have definitely gone for Matt Henry. Santner was anyways going to be useless.

This is not choking, they don't have bowlers to trouble Aussies on flat decks.Give them seam and swinging conditions they will become lot better.

 

Bowlers have done the best they could with their limitations. They needed more express bowlers like Ferguson but he was injured before he could make any impact.

Thats why i was saying they should have gone for 140 bowlers like Matt Henry. Boult and Southee are useless here. Southee is happy picking cheap wickets.

Only team which is competent in australian conditions is india....

 

India have the hit the deck bowlers and thats what will work in australia....

 

NZ have ferguson & Henry and should have utilized them...

 

Only certain pitches in australia favours swing...and that too on certain days.......only those matches southee / boult should be used...
