Discuss your favorites and upcoming releases. Your favorites can be listed among all superhero films, universe (Marvel, DC. ....), or series.

 

I will start with the Batman series. My top 5 in it:

 

1. The Dark Knight

2. Batman - more like a joint or close #1 

3. Batman Begins

4. The Dark Knight Rises

5. Batman Returns - more like joint or close #4

tough to rank them because there are so many of them but if I had to pick a top 5
 

The original Superman 

Batman the Michael Keaton one

Dark Knight

Iron Man 1

The First Spiderman/Dark Knight Rises

 

Honble mention to Wonderwoman the cinematography deserved a lot more recognition.

Wonder Woman looks good too in 4K UHD. The last act is an HDR showcase

Dead pool, kick-ass series, the best

spiderman 1 and 2 from 2003/4 Sam Raimi/Tobey Maguire

Avengers first and maybe second

Iron Man trilogy

unbreakable from

Black Panther

Batman 1 in 90s with Jack Nicholson as joker for nostalgic reasons

Nolan Dark Knight trilogy 1 and 2 only

hate all DC comics, except for the new Wonder Woman, amazing char in the new version, sold out.

x-men series the worst

Wow everyone forgot the original Superman :((

 

it was the first real great superhero movie that set a template till this date.

 

It was the perfect mix of great storytelling, amazing performances, brilliant background score etc.

 

It’s actually a masterpiece.

Nah. Not timeless, Too childish, was good for its time.  I like 90s  Batman series better, more catered to 18+. And we can still watch it.

You said the same on Bond films too iirc .... Now there are quite a few superhero films that I do not like but it is not good manners to be going in pro threads and making unnecessary negative comments (unless reviewing a film) .... You have the option to not watch such films .... what’s next? You go to a Chinese food thread where ppl are discussing what food they like and post how bad Chinese food is :dontknow: 

 

PS folks also like Indian films, which I have not completed in a single sitting in a long time. Does not mean they should stop making all of those :winky:

And its also bad manners trying to censor people's opinions :phehe: See how that can be hurled back at you. What if said food is poisoning the people. Will it merit posting how bad and dangerous it is

Not at all as the thread is on favorite superhero films as explained in the OP. There are tons of superhero films so there are tons of opportunities to discuss your favorite ones (unless reviewing a film) :dontknow:

I have not watched it in a long time. Don’t know how it holds up now. Batman (1989) probably also made a great impact on superhero genre

Wonder woman is no woman its a dragman. Its a drag-on. It comes from myth of amazonian woman who were transvestites. The "wonder" is that women can achieve the physical feats of men (like war or sport) or even overcome them comes from this myth. Real women cannot do this. Only "wonder" women can do this :laugh: Even the actor who plays this role and all feminist leaders are dragons :agree:
