Then we can think about India 'A' and eventually national team. Don't hype a chick before he's even learnt to fly. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
I still remember him owning Pakistan in the under-19 world cup. 77, 1 wicket and 4 catches. He and Sanju Samson laid into Pakistan bowling. mani sha 1 Link to comment

Likes of Pant, Kishan, Sundar, Anmolpreet, Arman Jaffer and Lomror (all of whom have played for Ranji, Ind A or Ind itself) struggled massively against Joseph, C. Holder and Paul. Sarfaraz at times looked as though he was playing on a diff pitch. His strokeplay has never been "classy" but he always seemed to have lots of time to play, and had an effective (although ungainly) defence as well. nevada 1 Link to comment

If he continues his form in 50-overs, he stands a good chance at that No. 6 slot, provided he can bowl a few overs. Link to comment

RajBan
Mumbai is out of Ranji but get him in the next A tour. Also if he plays impactful knocks in IPL, won't hurt to give him a chance in some of the upcoming T20s. Our 4-7 could be Iyer, Pant, Sarfaraz, Pandya raki05 1 Link to comment
mani sha
I think he deserves to be in the t20 squad and odi squad cab bowl can bat and plays amazing shots Link to comment
vvvslaxman
We have to keep him in the mix for Tests alongwith Vihari. I know we have guys like Gill, Shaw, Agarwal in addition to the old timers like Rahane. But you never know when our players go out of form or pick up an injury. The thing is guys like Iyer would probably be playing tests for some other country. We don't even talk about a guy with an average of 52. Link to comment

SUMO
Tests are far away from him. He was ordinary before this 3-4 games. So he doesnt jump ahead of much talented and matured guys like KL, Gill, Vihari, even Iyer. He can be tried in LOIs at no.6 slot. Can he bowl decent off spin? Link to comment
