Soft, for all the talk about Mayank & Shaw being ahead of KL in tests how many of you are confident that they'll outperform him (in his current form) on their first true test outside India? Yes I remember Mayank's innings in Oz but he came in on the 2 best batting tracks of that series!

that has been his weakness always have seen this so many times in last so many years ....at that length he pushes really hard away from body , infact he has bat pad gap also which soon someone will exploit. good thing for him is he is in such goof form that he is mind is clear while batting but this will be an issue when his confidence wont be same

Not that worried as NZ tracks become flat , ill be worried about them in SA n ENG which was the starting of KL downfall to

That's assuming they survive the 1st innings, especially if the pitch is green at start.

coz in test he hasnt played in to much seaming n swinging conditions

Aus conditions are good for batting and there its more about pace n bounce. His WI tour wasnt that great. When he went on ENG A tour he avg 17 in 4 day games

yea but if they score in 2nd innings ppl wont question so redemption chance is there. Plus they are good batsman to see off new ball. 

As of now they both are in good mind state problem for ny batsman start when mind becomes like cluttered which is what this TM is capable of doing to a player

It'll be different this time i feel. He was an unknown last time,  Aus bowlers will have come prepared this time. I fear for him if he doesn't start leaving those deliveries.
