Reminds me of 1998/99 Wellington test match. India batted first and found themselves 16/4 in no time before Azhar and Sachin rescued the team and got us to 208. We still lost the match but fought well. The worst thing is that we had them 74/5 chasing 213 to win and allowed them to get there. We surely did not know how to win overseas Tests during that decade.

If an opener cannot play that delivery which was pretty straight, they should not be opening.

dont think uthappa had that issue of getting squared he use to play very very straight , infact didnt play test to be even test. His problem in technique was playing far away from body.
