10 overs left, if they can’t score 25 -30 runs now, they won’t make a run tomorrow morning and I am sensing that it will be all over in the first hour. What a pathetic performance !!!

This is the best time to score runs regardless of the position we are in. With whole day at the disposal, NZ will be uber focused tomorrow with no tiredness. ALso new ball is due.

Vihari to open the batting is an option in the 2nd test.

This is my preferred team and one team India might take.

Vihari

Mayank

Pujara

Kohli

Rahane

Gill

Pant

Ashwin/Jadeja

Shami

Ishant

Saini

Even Bangladesh and Srl stacked up big runs on these flat pitches, even from this position good teams can reach 400 but with our team we already know its inevitable that they'd get out within a session or a half

Vihari should be dropped.

He looks completely out of sorts.

He is not even looking to score

As is aid he has one scoring shot mainly. Staright drive. Sometimes cover drive when it is juicy half volley on the off stump.    He has heart i can give you that. He survived and made a 50 in England on his debut. But his overall game has to improve a lot.

58 balls he has survived. We need an opener to at least survive.

This guy averages 59 in domestics, really speaks volumes about the quality of indian cricket.

No one should take those that seriously!

Matter of time before Vihari gets out and even though he too like Pujara would have played close to 80-90 balls would have no runs to show for it. He seems to be an extremely limited batsman.
