But that's not the same case with Pakistan, where their entire education, books is filled with Hinduphobia and hatred for anything "India". Respect is based mutually.

Don't blame the white guy, Pakistan is a state of mind, not a geographical nation. It is still festering in some of the 15% of the population fed by political establishment and the napak people on the other side. The more we crush that idea, the better chance of peace there is.

Yoda-esque Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Typical second or 3rd generation immigrants, disconnected with history of their parents' country, leading a privileged life in a foreign country, elite mindset, judging citizens of parents' country going through war and hatred for centuries. Typical. True trueSent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

That’s over simplifying things. Does Pakistan army have anything to do with Shaheen Baag or to those guys in old city Hyderabad and other parts of Mumbai,Chennai,Kolkata who will throw stones at Ganesh and Durga processions? There are external factors and there are internal factors. Look someone’s place of worship or the god they pray to or their traditions and customs are never a problem, we live in a country where those things vary from house to house. However as long as we have people thinking that they are conquerors of foreign heritage who have nothing to do with the soil, it will continue to be a problem. Parsees came from Iran too, they have their place of worship, their customs but they have adopted a local language and today their version of Zoroastrianism almost looks indic than a foreign culture. coffee_rules 1

BJP has changed this, but i don't think they're cracking down on foreign funded subversion. the average muslim in india does not hate the average hindu. Edited March 13, 2020 by Manny_Pacquiao

Yes Pak Army is a major player, but you had a guy like Zakir Naik getting funding from Saudi preaching hatred, there are various sources. What funding does Owaisi and many such leaders have? Their benefit is in fearmongering. While Congress might have questionable funding their vote bank politics are not directed by ISI or Pak army. So even if Pak army was out of the equation a lot of work has to be done to undo a lot of brainwashing that has been done over many many years. There are plenty of moving parts. Sure getting rid of Pak army may solve 50 or even 60% of the problem but it will still be an uphill task
