express bowling Posted September 26, 2020 Author Posted September 26, 2020 Khaleel was trying to hit the deck hard in his first 2 overs. Got some bounce too. It was not as if he was trying to bowl medium pace today. But issues with his action and ball release made him bowl medium-fast. He does not look ready for international cricket yet. Khaleel looks confused,he has been altering too much with his action in quest of swing and this has been his story for two years now and he is clearly in " na raha idhar ka na udhar ka " situation,he has lost pace and neither getting swing which is easy pickings for batsmen ,he has to watch his old videos and needs to revert back to his old action ,people make changes to increase pace or reduce strain ,but Khaleel tried to fix something which was never broken and hence paying price by loosing pace and confidence, looking lost like a fool Mosher 1

I know people will argue that he is coming back from from injury ... but so is Nagarkoti. Neither bowled at full pace. But Nagarkoti's bowling style is more or less the same. While Mavi is trying too many slower balls and I have not seen a single ball zip through or bounce extra in 2 matches. Mosher and Hell Raiser 2

Let's see brother,Mavi's action is same its Nagarkoti who has made some tweaks in his action ,everyone is not Aaron(guy should be respected for his attitude to never compromise on pace even after coming from injury alone)but then Shami too came back from injury took his time and got back(worked on his fitn ss,look at his lean musceles,im seriously impressed, every youngster should look at him) to his pace,Mavi bowled at 140ks , sometimes 138-139,yeah it was a habit to see them crank 145-150 ks so it was little down ,but that was before injury and i think they don't want to get injured again at the start of the season, they will be again playing IPL in 6-7 months time ,they should always remember if they compromise on pace in the longer run they will compromise on their careers (because they swing it already so pace is the key) Edited September 26, 2020 by Suhaan Mosher 1

We have seen both Bumrah as well as Shami trying to bowl at full pace after returning from injury. Same with Aaron and even Ishant. This is where thinking like a fast bowler comes in. The difference is Bumrah and Shami got enough time before playing competitive cricket while Mavi just started bowling very recently. He was supposed to miss this IPL. While Nagarkoti got fit last year in December. Then played DY Patil in Feb 2020. Also, they have not played or bowled in last six months so there is rustiness. Mavi is more cautious because he has just recovered from injury. He has suffered two back injuries in two years. Last year too, he missed IPL due to back injury then again got injured late last year during Ranji trophy. Edited September 27, 2020 by rkt.india Suhaan 1

His upper body was front on, while lower body side on in the past. Now he is completely side on.

Suhaan Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Udaankut stills gets to play after that abysmal run the other day,Yashasvi gets dumped for Rajpoot(not opposing Rajpoot though) If Udankut gets clobbered again,no reason to continue with him Well Kings Xi have won so don't think they will make change, but atleast try someone like Darshan, good or bad examine him for few matches Edited September 27, 2020 by Suhaan express bowling and Mosher 2

raki05 Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Indian bowlers are again going back to 90 modes where they are just focussing on not to get hit.....all domestic bowlers are just doing clerical jobs these rajputs, Avesh, unadkatss , zaleel, sandeepa I mean how the hell they get chance why don't they play Tyagi, Akash and Aaron. I can understand for Mavi and nagar that they are coming back from injuries but what about others. Only bowlers who looks motivated and intend to perform well is Saini look at his physique his run-up and then you have unadkats, Rajput and Avesh... express bowling and Mosher 2
