She played an important role and is very central to the story. Offlate she is coming up with crazy demands, first with Sandeep Vanga's Spirit and now this movie. They will probably kill her character in the beginning of the sequel.

Mirai is quite good. The main plus is the editing. They chopped off useless stuff and concentrated on story. This is NOT run of the mill pot boiler. It is a proper story oriented movie. Recommended.

More likely it will be Bhabhi 1 as she will do anything to get big budget role

Basically prioritizing motherhood.

 

More than actress they need to make a tight script. Kalki 1 was boring for most part

She maintains 5 Caravan's and 20 related staff. And the accommodation and salary have to be paid by the producer.  No sane producer is going to tolerate those tantrums.

 

Also, her husband Ranvir singh was dropped from a project as he had similar demands. Dude charged 18 Lakhs for just one day payment for his staff.

No wonder Bollywood is down the gutter....when you underpay script writers, editors, set designers, technical staff and splurge money on these bozos, this is what you get.

 

Malayalam movies with 10% of Bollywood's budget produce far superior movies. 

 

Bollywood's decline is well deserved.

I think producers have started fighting back. Stars have reduced their fees, someone like SLB is looking past Ranveer, Deepika. Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor who used to charge insane amounts don't find work with top houses.

 

Budget is an issue, see some very average movies with 100 crores budget, doesn't make sense.

Bastards of Bollywood was a proper brainrot though.  It knew what its purpose was.  Most Jokes landed as well.  Wasn't expecting much to begin with.

No surprise. Mallus are artistic people and money comes way down in the list of priorities. Compared to ultra megalomaniacal people like us Telugus. They will always produce superior art.

Saw this movie Ghatti. TelugI movie industry has to start deviating from this pushpa, kgf style movies. Way too many of them look exactly the same. Larger than life characters,  fighting against a massive polItical force and killing every henchmen singlehandedly rinse and repeat.

I was talking about 8 hour shift. Rani backed her in recent interview. 8 hour is not less either.

 

Also her co-star in both films was Prabhas, who charges way more ( apart from his body double) and is known to be unprofessional. Yet same producers tolerate him. Make it make sense.

 

She's working with SRK and another movie with Allu Arjun too. So clearly there are takers.
