kepler37b Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 (edited) Mirai is quite good. The main plus is the editing. They chopped off useless stuff and concentrated on story. This is NOT run of the mill pot boiler. It is a proper story oriented movie. Recommended. Edited September 20, 2025 by kepler37b

Will be a proper non-glamour-doll role for her. Remember, she is a good actress. If they select Aalia, the director has to be slapped hard.

More likely it will be Bhabhi 1 as she will do anything to get big budget role

Basically prioritizing motherhood. More than actress they need to make a tight script. Kalki 1 was boring for most part
Gollum Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 Lokah: Chandra, Malayalam movie. Enjoyed it, 8/10.

And for Ranveer, generator must be on whole night because he prefers sleeping in his van. No wonder Bollywood is down the gutter....when you underpay script writers, editors, set designers, technical staff and splurge money on these bozos, this is what you get. Malayalam movies with 10% of Bollywood's budget produce far superior movies. Bollywood's decline is well deserved.

If there is a decline, as you claim, won’t market forces act and the stars you so obviously dislike be forced to tone down their requests? You are saying, with a straight face, that the industry is declining and not making enough money BUT Ranveer Singh has bigger wishes than Aladdin did with his magic lamp? How can anyone pay for it , if the movies don’t make money? Contradictory? Lord 1
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 Watched this Liamo neeson's ice road vengenance. Shot in Nepal. Terrible sequel. But i loved Nepal location though.

How can anyone pay for it , if the movies don’t make money? Contradictory? I think producers have started fighting back. Stars have reduced their fees, someone like SLB is looking past Ranveer, Deepika. Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor who used to charge insane amounts don't find work with top houses. Budget is an issue, see some very average movies with 100 crores budget, doesn't make sense. Edited October 4, 2025 by Gollum Mariyam 1
Lone Wolf Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 (edited) Bastards of Bollywood was a proper brainrot though. It knew what its purpose was. Most Jokes landed as well. Wasn't expecting much to begin with. Will give it 7/10 Edited October 5, 2025 by Lone Wolf Mariyam 1

Mallus are artistic people and money comes way down in the list of priorities. Compared to ultra megalomaniacal people like us Telugus. They will always produce superior art.
vvvslaxman Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Saw this movie Ghatti. TelugI movie industry has to start deviating from this pushpa, kgf style movies. Way too many of them look exactly the same. Larger than life characters, fighting against a massive polItical force and killing every henchmen singlehandedly rinse and repeat.

Rani backed her in recent interview. 8 hour is not less either. Also her co-star in both films was Prabhas, who charges way more ( apart from his body double) and is known to be unprofessional. Yet same producers tolerate him. Make it make sense. She's working with SRK and another movie with Allu Arjun too. So clearly there are takers.
