By "we" do you mean you're a BJP karyakarta or what :hmmmm2: Interesting choice of words there. Then we as in Tamil people are not Bengalis. We don't vote for commies like WB does. You can keep trying but you will keep failing as Congress has. This process of getting a nation bipolar just leads to oligarchy like the US and Russia. Our democracy as corrupt as it is, is still better than bipartisan politics where if you don't like one, you have no other option to join the other. Its plain divide and conquer. You as in BJP (congress as well) have learnt well from the colonial brits in the past and are continuing the same.

So who was ruling TN before Dravidian parties came along ?

This is expected but don't worry A2. You ain't going nowhere.

There's definitely a probe coming to question you to find out the truth in jaya's death. Rest easy for now. You and the rest of admk goons will pay for the last 5 years and for what you have done to the state.

If people realize this, then they would go for DMK. I have no horse in this race, but only predicting the outcome if this is made out to the public more blatantly. Already DMK is banking on tying the obvious connection and getting political mileage

ADMK voterbase, the really common people who voted for JJ know that the party is sold out long ago. Any one can buy a party but it takes loyalty to get the people to vote for.

I hate her as much as you do, just want her to not break ADMK in this election. After the election, I will support any action on her

I am a BJP worker.  It was very evident based on my post history. Never tried to hide it.

The irony is that you want TN to be bipolar. (AIADMK and DMK). Yet want to the nation not to be bipolar?  This is something I have struggled to understand from many TN based dravidian outfit backers. Want lok sabha elections to be fragmented. Want complete mandate for a single party in state. Fine you dont want national parties. TN has many smaller regional outfits. Apply what you have said on being bipolar to the state.

The Tamil people as you put it already vote BJP in Bangaluru. The tamil people as you put it have already voted for a Tamil MLA in Maharashtra who belongs to the BJP. The Tamil people will vote for BJP hopefully in Puducherry.

They will use her to cut EPS down. More power centres within the ADMK the better. In all honesty this election will be a DMK sweep. Probably BJP and PMK will end up with 0. If EPS loses his seat then he will lose grip of his party anyways. Even if he wins and its a repeat similar to 1996 or 2011 BJP will bring in Sasikala to side line him or limit his power. They will offer a union berth to OPS son to further reduce the power of EPS within the party.

EPS is a wise man. Knows the game being played. Lets see how he counters....BJP needs the AIADMK in Puducherry for this election cycle as they need to sideline AINRC. Amit shah wont mind settling for less in TN for that reason.

With DMK-Congress haggling, this Sasikala move will become important to gain back some lost ground, might not be a rout as everyone is so sure. Congress wants 30, DMK is not ready to give. They know what happened to RJD in Bihar recenty

Cong dmk settled at 27 plus 1 rs seat. Thats what i heard. In puducherry they will give dmk 10.

Congress in 2011 had 63 and will have 27 in 2021.... i think by 2026 will basically be sub 20 if they remain with the dmk. Not that i am complaining... the codependent relationship cong has with dmk will lead to them being totally eradicated in the next 10 years in the state. In a way Bjp needs to thank the Dmk for continuously cutting Cong down to size. Weakens them nationally.

If dmk sweeps Stalin will aim to become the next Naveen Patnaik. He will permanently shed cong.  If they get 140+ this election i think odds are Dmk will contest 40 Ls seats in 2024 and see if there is hung parliament to cut any deals.

Warning signs there for Cong based on this seat sharing.  Rahul Gandhi is popular in Tn. But unless local unit does hard work and stitches a strong coalition which is non dmk they will be washed away in 2024.

Sathasivam ( kerala governor ) is a close relative of EPS and he asked him to mediate between him and shah/modi/bjp ..

i think EPS is in mota bhai's good books now and both him and modi dont mind EPS ahead of EPS .. EPS is a seasoned politician unlike OPS

See Modi and Shah have cordial relations with Eps. Eps helped to deliver Caa for bjp. All of them are self made men and there is a healthy respect for one another. Its not like they hate each other.

If eps comes and joins the bjp he will be welcomed with open arms, if he loses the power tussle and will be given a good ministry. Its not that he will be cast aside.

But re preferance. Ops is weak compred to Eps. Bjp will naturally prop up the weaker flank. If ops was stronger than eps, bjp would prop up eps. Its just simple politics.

Honestly looking at RaGa and Stalin there is a gap in age and my gut feeling tells me political compulsions aside they cant bond as individuals.  Thats the root of their seat sharing troubles.

Believe it or not even Stalin and Modi have cordial relations. It was always appreciated that Modi checked in on Mk in his final months. Stalin Modi Eps Ops all the same gen. Modi also got on well with Maran Sr during the Abv gov in the early 00s. We already know he was friends with JJ.

Apparently Alagiri the Congress president in tn broke down in tears after 1 round of talks with dmk.

Was humiliated.

Mk stalin is fast emerging as a guy who i respect, ideology aside. This will set a precedence with cong and other regional parties.

Fair enough. I'm not talking about TN being bipolar. I don't want it to be bipolar but these are the ground realities. I'm talking about multiple parties need to exist in India as a counter balance to the duopoly that is shared between BJP and Congress. If it turns into only two parties, then its a sign of bipolar politics. There is a reason I want ADMK/DMK to exist and its not because they play dravidian politics.

Infact I don't even like the BS but its a fallback when the center starts its "mainland" centric bias. If you don't think such biases exist, you only need to look at how Shiv Sena is acting right now. Or for that matter how Northeast gets very little focus. India exists by the philosophy of "unity in diversity". Such things won't exist in a bipolar country.

Lets not go into what Tamils outside of TN vote alright. It has nothing to do with this thread as the names itself indicates
