Most of you posting here don't live in TN. If something goes down hill here, you won't be here to help us that too in these strange circumstances. Why don't you leave this thread alone and find something else to do :noidea:

Didn't know Tamil Nadu was a different. Country

Its not but why the sudden interest in TN. I know you all will be missing as the election is over and will be back when some riffraff does some damage. My point is those living in TN are the ones bearing the brunt not people like you who is sitting in some foreign country behind a laptop in an climate conditioned environment.

Naattu (Nadu) means Nation.

What can go wrong, with a new Secular Progressive Alliance government in the state, the state HDI has only way to go.

When Chennai was under water, I was living in Bengaluru, we all contributed 10% of salary through a CSR drive. (voluntary). Don’t say, we won’t do anything if things go bad.

Don’t worry, we will keep the Stalin memes to a minimum

I don't care what memes you produce. I have no dog in this fight like you kannadiga. During the flood, chennaiites helped each other. No amount of money can help in the situation that was unexpected like that. I gave some money to kerala floods and pulwama attacks but did I help really. Those people in Kerala and the soldiers in pulwama helped each other. All these fund creation is a bit dodgy. Why can't they use the taxes to deliver what these people need in dire circumstances. Even if you did contribute money, the funds may or may not have reached its destination. I also suspect the PM cares fund now is a bit sketchy to say the least.

So this guy says we shouldn't comment on Tamil Nadu because we don't live there..lol..classic regional jingoism at play.

Couching culture under the garb of parochialism

That's a bit rich from someone whose base is in MH. are you trying to be like shashi tharoor

Both my in-laws are in a hospital in Chennai fighting for their lives .I arranged for their admission from here.
I suppose that allows me to get affected?
Or do I have to be a Tamilian to start commenting?

I though you were kidding, but you are serious! You actually are saying that those living outside TN should show no interest in TN politics and not discuss it in some falana forum in internet? What about elections in Bihar, MH, Bengal, UP?

Posted

In hindsight, perhaps this was highlight of the four elections. BJP made its presence and AIADMK held its own after 10 years anti incumbency minus Amma.

And yes, loss of Kamal Hassan.

If that's the case, then you should comment on that not about politics

I don't give a fcuk about politics in TN much less about politics in aforementioned states. No you can get your fix here at ICF but just telling the local guys posting here that you won't be here when SHTF. Also a friendly advise to those who are in chit chat only for politics. I can remember a time in ICF when it was so much more fun when politics were not talked about that often. All of you acting like BJP/Cong karyakartas these days.

Anyone can discuss about politics. Analysing about the results are also fine, but what I don't like is accusing people for electing a leader that you don't like, without knowing the ground reality. You have to be in TN to understand why people vote for ADMK/DMK again and again. Both the Dravidian parties have done a lot for the state. If Kamal or Annamalai or seeman says " look Dravidian politics has done a lot, but there are many gaps there and it is time to reinvent ourselves" then TN might be interested. There is no need to reinvent the wheel in TN. People here outside TN do not understand this

So now you should tell me what I shouldn't about? Lol..change in goalposts

I have many real life events about TN politics as well..not sure they would be to your advantage though. So best you shut your trap .you or your parochial friends can't stop me from posting in here.

I see,you have no comeback so trivializing the issue now.

Did you bother to ask the condition of the people I mentioned? No empathy for your own state people? So all this is just BS talk then?

What are you going to advise me next on what not to talk about?

Vice president & second to Kamal in MNM, Dr Mahendran resigns. Says Kamal 'Misguided' & party is autocratic.

Guess that's that for Kamal Saar.

Kamal is irrelevant in TN/India politics. He has endorsed Kejriwal and Kejriwal attends MNM functions as well. Guess Kamal likes Kejri's style of functioning - autocratic.
