Kohli returns and delivers

Isn't this way too clear now?

He doesn't command that amount of respect now as 3-4 years before when he was scoring runs for fun,his form has dipped and looks like approaching the twilight leg of his career,it looks wierd to talk about this that too at this age,but he always looked a couple of years older than his official age

Selectors should make a hard call on his kaptani future, won't be surprised to see same failures look like million dollars once removed from his kaptani shadows

Lets hope they do it to arrest this slide even temporarily

Win or defeats are part of game , but disappointing part was no fight which was our hallmark in australia

I think people are upset with Kohli’s body language and proactiveness. Apart from that nothing to complain.

Nadeem was ordinary but still picked up 4 wickets. Sundar looked the best batsman in the team by a mile in the first innings.

So apart from that nothing to nitpick. Let’s give England their due.

Its always been same , something many admired but at the end problem was we didnt give a fight unlike in Australia

Yes,one we should admit here is we always tend to pick our game against Aussies which is not a norm against other SENA teams, specially England since 2011

Infact England,NZ have been our bogy team for so much long now

Pathetic bowling changes on day 1 and 2, field placements, zero plan B, no imagination to send an in-form Sundar/Pant up the order or pick Siraj. Same basic tactical mistakes as his recent games as a captain across formats

Kohli's "advice"

By the look of it pant looked to guide the ball on leg side for a single. Kohli must have told him to rotate. Now this is pre meditation, anderson being an experienced guy wud have picked this so took the ball away pulled back his length a bit.

At times u have to let players play their own game.

My theory is aussies attack which gives us a chance to attack and game moves on at good pace. England and NZ play waiting game , they grind which our team doesnt like specially batsman. In 2004 when aussies won here they cut down our runs on 3rd man and had leg side field.

See the body language of every single batsman yesterday while batting with Kohli. Not one looked comfortable. That's the negative vibe Kohli oozes. Compare Gill/ Pant batting with Pujara in last few tests vs yesterday. Difference was staggering.

Typical over reaction, By end of series these Poms will be crying and thus first test defeat will be forgotten by then, India is going to dish phainty likes of which have never seen before, so dear Indian fans just chill and enjoy the ride,  this was just India taking Poms lightly and Oz win hangover. Now the beast is truly awaken. No mercy.

Dude we lost one match in last 9 years. 1 defeat is still huge with our home record.

It was also a clever slower ball which fooled Pant. The ball gripped and turned on day 5 pitch, which caused a leading edge in air, Pant was playing it like a regular ball, straight down the ground

Kaptaan clown today scored a duck

He is not only misleading this side but also going down at the rate of knots while his peers who are not age fudgers like him are scoring tons of runs

Who does give him the confidence to ruin confidence of youngsters?

Today he dropped Sundar, who looked not so well in fairly flat conditions in first two days of first test,he lacks to identify players for roles he is clueless as his batting in last 2 years
