Nah, someone like Yadav or Shami would have taken lots of wickets, pacers seem to be doing well here. Ishant was the mistake
The Realist Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 This must be the weakest batting line up for a decade or so. Inspire no confidence.
Lone Wolf Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Also if you don't get runs at home it is not ideal.. He may struggle in Eng big time & put his career in jeopardy. Mayank at least had monster home season after Success in Australia.

Lots of water will have flown under the bridge until then. No worries mate. After we lose the WTC final and then the first couple England tests, we would be fully prepared and raring to go by the 3rd test. Austin 3:!6 1

Thats a lot of talent to inject in and improve us even further.
Nikola Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Gill looks relaxed during fielding too. I think at times he takes things too lightly. RAZPOR 1

Nikhil_cric Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Already one down. I think we should play 6 bowlers and try to shoot teams out for less than 100. I'm sure Kohli is working on it

Jimmy is best when it comes to exposing techniques.. He is 39 & may lost a lot of venom but the craft is still there. I fear what he'll do to Gill in England. It won't be pretty. Shaw vs Gill Round 2 in practice games should decide it.

There was no lateral movement for the opposition as well, yet our pacers did nothing on the first day. Are you claiming Shami, Umesh or Siraj wouldn't have outbowled these two on the first day?

But Shami & Umesh are the best when it comes to use of SG ball & at home. They just know how to take wickets here... It is strange both of them struggle when there is excess help in the wicket lol

Lone Wolf Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Big inns for Pujara I think.. Dude needs to step up finally. Same goes for Rahane. Both are in the same boat.

Lone Wolf Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 (edited) KP on twitter saying Gill is too slow.. Is that a reflex thing or he is just too relaxed? He needs to gets busy. Improve his concentration &, get urgency in his batting. Needs big improvement. Edited March 4, 2021 by Lone Wolf RAZPOR 1
