My world T20 lineup and roles Kohli-Anchor/Pitch assessment expert Rohit-Hitman Iyer-Secondary Anchor/Spin Killer Pant-X factor batsman Rahul/SKY-360 degree finisher Pandya-Power hitter Jadeja-Secondary Power hitter Shardul-Slogger Sundar-Maybe used as a floater or not all/Spinner Bumrah-X factor bowler Nattu-Yorker specialist rollingstoned, Majestic and Sandeep99 1 2 Link to comment

We also need to bring back Badrinath at no 4. I am sure ICC will be frightened to see these kind of power hitters in the side & hand us both T20 World cups lined up. Why can't he imitate his idol Sachin & skip the format for others. Sachin was in golden touch in 2009-2010, he could have played the WT20 back then but he never did that. IF i send a pinch hitter he ll also come good in one game iyer batted at 5 Its simple optimization of resources when you have been given a non negotiable constraint-Kohli must play. 2016 version of Kohli is lost now, he had added some power to his game,his timing was good and placement godly, that guy could play in the middle order,now he is better off as an opener However much we discuss Kohli's fall however it is not fair to say that he cannot be more consistent than a pinch hitter, he surely can be consistent once he gets into some form Regarding Iyer, i'm ambivalent, TM should have played SKY ahead of him now that he has performed best to use his strength against spin.Rahul is doing the finishing job now in ODI's so he should be able to do it in T20's as well, a lower order of Rahul, Pant, Pandya, Jadeja must surely give anyone nightmares and must be enough incentive for top 3 to go harder Link to comment
