SA women are owning India in India like nobody's business.  INdia has lost 1-4 in the ODIs. Now loss in first T20. Atrocious fielding. simple catches dropped.

Man if you lose to SA women's team at home & then cry that nobody takes you seriously than its nobody's fault.  BCCI is still spending lot of resources compared to what SA board is doing on Women's cricket.  Not enough talent I am afraid.

That Ronda Rousey's comment comes to mind where she silenced all the cry babies.

This young Richa Ghosh seems like a real deal...  Only 17 years old.  Finally a worthy young talent. Great knock so far.   Most of the lineup otherwise is useful for stat padding only.

Before South Africa, They haven’t played international cricket for over a year. Hopefully the Indian women get more games going forward. Also, hope that we can get some kind of an ipl going. With that, hopefully our standards should go up.

Anyone watching this match. The Fielding standard of the women's team is a joke. Dropping easy catches,  falling over balls and giving away boundaries . It's very low quality of Cricket.

Most of these girls don't look like  athletes at all.

Indian women lost the toss again today. Same toss and match result every match.

The average age of the squad is hardly 21-22. It's perfectly fine to lose with a young squad as the team goes through a generational change. Shefali, Richa, Jemima are all fine young players who will form the core of the squad fir next 8-10 years.

Disappointing part is the fielding. Should have been more professional

Agree. Fielding was just abysmal. There was no place to hide for the youngster, Richa Ghosh.

Like Snehal Pradhan suggested on air, the TM should put her in as WK in case she is decent at it. WV needs to do something to raise the fielding standard.

Well, there's Shafali Verma, too.  She is just 17 and seems super-talented.

Yeah both of them look like gals with some talent.  Maybe they can land a contract at Women's big bash at some point of time.  BCCI needs to market these two youngsters unlike the oldies who hog all the limelight but still struggle to land big deals at Women's leagues.

Saffers have served us a giant humiliation & their top performers play in WBBL...  While ours don't even get picked these days lol.

Don't think they will ever find a replacement for jhulan.

I think they should open some talent hunt or something in North east region as women are very athletic over there although they are interested more in Soccer.  But worth a try.

Indian women team will bash Asian sides on most days but they won't be able to compete as much with SENA sides on that level.  Their fitness standards & power game are on other level.  Watched some women big bash games & overall difference I found was massive.  Asian women participation non existent but plenty of Saffer & english women take part in it.

This young SA girl Wolvadaart is something else..  Especially.

It's been a bit of a steep fall.  Not too long ago, weren't they flying high near the top of women's cricket?  It seems like yesterday that Mandhana emerged along with others like Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma.

If I am to guess, three things have contributed to the downfall:

(1) HMPK-MR spat.

(2) Covid-induced lack of playing time.

(3) Jhulan Goswami is not the same force anymore and there are no replacements, yet.
