Mayank   3  for  14  from 4 overs.

Just look at his ER of 3.5 in addition to his wicket taking ability.

This is what Umran, should have done winning/breaking on his own with the kind of pace he has.

He won against KKR 1 match should do it often in IPL, there are uncapped Ind player nt all good against top pace.

Need to create a difference.

I'd hire him full time if we could, any of these phoren coaches who know how to deal with express bowlers.

if BCCI has a bit of brains they should hire morkel and Mayank into the team as soon as possible- this combo is touch wood doing wonders.

fast bowler requires a great fast bowling coach. any other coach can mess him up.I am now worried whats going to happen to mayank aftermorne morkel leaves him.

will bcci hire morkel as fast bowling coach.

Success Mayank is getting should trigger other teams too-SRH and GT .

There are Ind. upcapped batters it will be hard for them to handle top pace. Yes Umran and Karthik are not always 150 kmph but they can rattle few batters and get wkts.

Mayank is accurate and may be consistently faster than  Umran and Karthik but they have tools too. Umran can go toe-toe with Mayank on Pace. And Karthik may be bit slower than Mayank but there is possibility he can bowl in 150s and there is not much above what Mayank is bowling (pace )but Karthik can top that .

Karthik wants to bowl fast. he is way ward and miss his line often but where else would he learn. GT should work on him get him games and ask him if he can win games for them like Mayank did. Create some internal competition.

Lee talks about the internal competition Lee and Akthar had made both of faster and better

Guys, any views on Manimaran Siddhaarth? Bowls almost at the pace of a medium pacer. LSG management seems to have some faith in him. Though he'll have trouble if the batsmen start treating him like a medium pacer rather than a spinner.

Siddhaarth he is kind of a bowler that Ind batters hate and find it hard to hit. Similar to Chase, Samules and Gayle.

They are hard to get underneath and loft for six or not slow that batter can come down   the crease to hit. They have to hit these kind of bowlers from the crease which not many Ind batters can do.

His last 2 matches he didnt bowl too many bad balls and he created chances in both the games in his first few overs. A good addition to LSG wkt taker in PP.

LH batters may be able to use his pace and play him to the legside but he got that one which drifts or swings away from LH batters too.

Kudos to KL for playing him. Basic stuff but still deserves credit

Harshit Rana is not gonna blow anyone away with pace.

Top speed - 144 , average - 138 maybe.

However, his accuracy and bounce are noteworthy. Also bowls decent slower balls.

Arshdeep has absolutely trundled and looked club level.  Early days but that left arm seamer spot should go to Khaleel.

Bumrah is a lock in the attack.

Mayank Yadav - enough said.

Fast bowling allrounder Hardik Pandya.

Think seam attack should be on those lines.

Mayank traps Karthick LBW with a 148 k cannonball.

Seamed in

But overturned on review.

According to Bose dk, mayank would be a medium pacer as he is indian.

Rana can bowl in 145+ kmph but wont be near the pace Mayank is bowling. Rana was bowling many bowling into 145 kmph.

This season he is trying slower ones and also for the first time he is trying to get the ball away from RH batter.

He was mostly bowling into the RH batters last season, think that was the reason he didnt get games initially last season. He was only bring the ball into RH batter and TM could not want that. But he took wkts with his bounce. he is adding some new skills this season.

Hopefully he get back to same pace as last season

Yeah was only commenting on what he has bowled in this IPL so far.

Even I thought he was a bit quicker earlier

His economy rates were atrocious in whatever domestic scorecards I followed but from what I've seen , he seems to bowl fairly accurately.

Maybe just trying to focus on landing the ball for now.

Just saw the replay. They showed the impact points of the ball with the bat for Mayank vs the rest. Mayank’s were significantly further up as the batsmen were late and were getting hurried. It was obvious but still fun to see.

no need for pace bowling AR in many WI pitches. pandu's batting has gone down a lot, his fitness is iffy; his bowling is fine though

Siraj has bowled lots of 143 k to 145 k deliveries even in tests.

But has bowled lots of 130 k to 138 k spells too.

He loses rhythm a bit too often.

Is Siraj done, do not see anything special from him, its been a long time since Asia cup. Looks like he is not putting any effort in the bowling.

He used to be costly in IPLs and T20s but wont look like just going through the motion. At one time when Bhumrah was out due to injury he looked like Inds best white ball baller in all phases he was swinging both ways , bowling ok in middle over and high pace yorker later in the game..

Burntout, lost rhythm, injured, just not interested.....?

He was actually quicker.

Last season he was bowling 140-149 kph while hovering around 142-143 range.

He missed Ranji due to injury, maybe still taking things slow. But he can't be considered and out n out express bowler. His ranges are from fast medium to fast.
