Exactly! They don't want to deprive us from enjoying the quickfire 40 ball 50s from our superstars. Remember the batting line up of RCB in first IPL under Dravid's helm?

Dravid, Jaffer, Chanderpaul, Kallis, Boucher? India is heading towards that approach with Rohit, Gill, Kohli, SKY, Rahul, Pandya and Jadeja. Sky is probably the only misfit here.

The worst ipl in ipl history. Nothing comes close. This blatant bias against quick bowlers, pathetic pitches, moronic team tactics and even more stupid coaches who are delusional. 
 

Are the owners out of their mind?? People don’t really give a F about the points table (not that teams like GT are setting things on fire anyways). What’s gonna give them more views and fans is if they play a brand of cricket that people enjoy. If you think watching Mohit or Markande Undakat is  gonna be more exciting that watching guys like Tyagi, Umran, then you’re delusional and you need help.

 

 

Only slight positive - Mayanks Yadav’s couple of spells. Even that did not last.

Umran had some good and some not that good matches in Domestic season , the match which was televised Rasik got 6 wkts.

 

He opted not to play last few matches in Ranji, guess it rubbed them the wrong way.

 

This is where its important for Umran, Tiyagi, Mayank etc... not make noise in domestic seasons for good reason, not all matches will be on tv and not all matches will have speedometer.

Media reported Tyagi only when he hit Chawala on the lids in a pacy spell.

 

IPL teams are not concerned if any particular player gets into Ind team based on up-on their high potential its just they want some representation in Ind team, if Ind selectors were willing to play him he would play every IPL match giving him best chances.

 

Unadakat was in Ind test side, believe it or not Bhuvi came v.close to selection after Pandya's injury in the WC.

Probably yes, that is also the reason why our non talented third class players afe smoking sixes.

 

Cummins, Starc, Boult, Ferguson, Rabada none of them are taking this seriously

I for once think its good that Kartik Tyagi and Umran didn’t get to bowl much in this edition as this has been the worst IPL for pacers and they would have curbed their attacking instincts to stop runs,

Lance Klusener mentioned that quality of bowling in this IPL has been subpar.

The amount of yorkers this season has been very less and were replaced by cutters off the pitch. 

 

Tyagi is erratic but if he has one thing going for that is yorkers. His fast yorkers are as potent as Bumrah and hence that should have helped him.

 

Umran I think would have done better against the power hitters, considering how less reaction time they will have against him. Someone like Dube must have struggled vs Umran..who depends on power.

The more I see this IPL the more I get the feeling that someone deserving will miss out. Samson and Rinku are the likeliest to be snubbed. I can understand if they select Kohli, but if Gill and Rahul are selected it will be just sad.
