If he wasn’t fit, I’m sure they wouldn’t have him as the impact sub. 

Zaheer used to be celebrated bowler than his other left arm partner Nehra

But years down the line ,Nehra has completely left him behind with results to show for

He has been doing well with his franchise bowlers for quite sometime

Zaheer is more of a old school meek mentality coach

These are incompetent fools. They have no idea how to handle fast bowlers. He was cleared, and he was included in the impact subs.

Dravid is at the top of tm its hard to believe he is playing archer, he does not prefer faster bowlers.

think this ground is not a rt. place where you debut a new pacer

its not this simple to deduce something/trends based on 1 ipl season, same bowler can look rubbish in nxt season or in future games.

Posted this question during the ct25 , is having high bounce bowler more beneficial in t20s now as there are not many batters who are good cutters.

High pace has gone for run in sub-continental conditions.

 

With extra bounce/climbing bounce that archer gets or some of these new nz bowlers are getting is difficult to hit in white-ball and then add that slower bouncer which no batter has been able to hit so far.

 

With power hitting and modern style of batting there are v.few batters who are playing on back-foot and no1 is particularly good cutter. Driving or hitting extra bounce will not be easy on consistent basis, the next options are pull or hook which in itself is a high risk option and then if some ball fast extra bounce bowler adds slower variation it becomes extra tough because as a batter its hard to know if he wants to play such bowler of the back-foot or front-foot

Not been following IPL. Find it too boring, too diluted from cricket. Anyway, if I may, these are my thoughts:

 

Prasidh Krishna- I wouldn't read too much into his performances and speeds. Cranking high speeds for 4 overs is easy, and when you know each and every moment is being highlighted. Even in the past, he has shown signs and then totally performed rubbish. So, unless and until these speeds translate into better performances in Tests, at an international level, its a hogwash. 

 

Harshit Rana- The guy is legit. 

 

Siraj- He is getting his mojo back. Definitely getting to know that he needs to shut a lot of people down. There's a certain intensity, 'jazbaa' in his approach. This guy will not slow down. He has a point to prove. His IPL journey WILL translate into better international performances. 

 

Pathirana- Not an Indian, but a good prospect for fast bowling lovers. Needs to learn a lot, but he is doing the basics right. he does have a stable head. 

 

Starc- Anybody questioning his pace, well, his days are over. He has already proven to the whole world. He has nothing to prove pace wise. He is much older now, and there's no shame in bowling in 130's and early 140's. He is still a solid bowler and that's all there is to it.
