Seven members of England's squad have tested positive for COVID19. England set to announce a new team for the Pakistan ODI and T20 series with Stokes as captain

Hales, Crawley, lawrence, salt, vince, banton, denly, parkinston, overton, joe clarke, will jacks, abell, hain,, howell......all of these guys performed in recent t20 blast. 

Some of them are exciting player.....they shud be ok as long as wkts extremely flat.

Even if they win, it'll mean nothing just like that SAF series earlier this year. And if they lose, they'll be ridiculed for losing to England C.

Though I am absolutely against anyone catching C 19 but a part of me feels it serves arrogant British media well. They were almost cheer-leading when Covid cases were high in India and IPL got cancelled. A case of what goes around...comes around. And a lesson that this virus don't discriminate

Are crowds allowed for this series?  I remember the WC 19 game vs NZ in Birmingham...  Pakistani crowd was very loud over there

Comparing the second string sides of England & India, on paper you can comfortably say India have better depth in talent. If the series was between Ind 2nd string & Eng 2nd string, I ll back Indian benchers to win.

Our A team did beat Eng Lions in the one day leg on the 2018 A tour (Pant saw us home in a tricky chase). In FC matches Eng were stronger.

 

In fact  in the last 3-4 years, our A team has consistently beaten Aus A, SA A, WI A and NZ A in away conditions in one dayers

Oddly Pakistan does tour England a lot..  Be it for limited overs stuff or tests. 

Similar to like India tours Australia often. 

Sri lankan team is probably busiest team in last few years.  They play cricket relentlessly in a calendar year lmao
