you hate the land of golts? :dontknow:

I was trolling @Trichromatic

but since you ask, I'm not a fan of Hyderabad.

- Your Biriyani is a spicy scam.

- Your Urdu is a scam (albeit funny)

- Hate it when every young person calls it Hydra-BAD.

- Weather is terrible

- Your airport is in a different country?

- Far too many techies/science people/engineers. Automatically makes it a dull place.

- Far too many Muslims. Automatically makes it a dull place.

1. Normal biryani is too bland. I go for more spicy food.

4. Weather is nice, hot for 2 months, cool rest of the year.

5. At least we can reach airport in 40 mins. Bangalore people start in morning for late night flight.

:bumsmack: it takes me 1.5 - 2 hrs from my sasural in diamond point to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in the nizam city of Shamsabad Same as Bengaluru which takes about 2 hours to KEmpegowda Intl airport in the village of Devanahalli

Time to defend my sasural.

Biryani is better than any other variety, but not as good as Donne Biryani

No comments about Urdu, it sounds like Urdu spoken with a South Indian accent with a lot of Hou, Hou..Hallu Chichah..

Compared to Bengaluru, weather is terrible, better than Chennai. Mumbai or Delhi throughout the year. summer is hot.

Haleem is the best in the world (tasted when I used to eat meat). But I have no other references to compare.

Rayalaseema cuisine is much more spicy than Telengana, but it is an acquired taste.

We are the master race. Sort of Germans of India.  We dominate in technology and engineering. 40%(or even more) of Indian IT people are us.

Much to the disgust of Tammies.

Hyderabadi Biryani is best, there is no doubt about that in my mind.

But Hyderabadi Biryani is no longer an attraction for me ever since I tried rayalseema food.

It feels like my search spanning across years has ended with Rayalseema cuisine.

I had no clue that a place named Diamon point existed in Hyderabad.

Basically Mirchi on steroids with some rice and meat.

What other type of Biriyani have you tried?

Also there are 50 shades of mirchi in between bland and super spicy ( aka Hyderabadi). It's not an either/or situation.

Being a techie is like being from Jharkhand/Chattisgarh.

Something one must never admit to.

Definitely not something to brag about.

Kolkata Biryani

Awadhi Biryani

Donne biryani

Thalessary biryani

and some more which I don't remember.

But that mirchi on steroid biryani will taste like no mirchi in comparison to rayalseema food.

Okay maybe you just crave extra spicy food.

In Awadhi biriyani, when cooked in white mutton paste actual has the right zaika of meat and spice. In the Hyderabadi variety its basically a lot of oil and masala. You can barely taste the meat/rice. Its not one two joints that I speak about but the general style of cooking/ ingredient mix.

Yes.

I can just taste sweets. Difficult to eat much. I can eat like crazy if food is extra spicy.

By spicy, I don't mean just chilli.
