vvvslaxman Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 I understand their approach. But at some point you have to put a pause to the approach right? This is basic commonsense. Once it was 3 down. They should have revisited their approach. Russell is throwing kitchen sink first ball. No intention to stop the bleeding.

vvvslaxman Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 I think Pollard will take some time. Don't west indies realize they have a rubbish bowling unit?

We scored 134 in 20 overs. Rohit set the tone with 26 ball 29. Sri lanka chased with ease. World t20 2016 semis. On one of the flattest pitches we were 35 after 5 overs after opening with sharma and rahane. We ended up making 192 thanks to kohli ls masterclass which was not enough Just last 2 world cups

vvvslaxman Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 With so much aggressive batting their run rate is 4.39
Rantzz Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 I have never seen this Jordan bowl so economical. He is always the whipping boy in IPL raki05 1

There are two ways you can win. One with great bowling or great batting. That was 12 years ago, lots of things have changed. For eg, our 2011 approach wont win a ODI world cup today
Lone Wolf Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 One thing is clear WI have no idea how to set a total. They'll be more dangerous chasing I think. They basically won the last two KO's of 2016 chasing the total & even that 2012 final.
raki05 Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 What a bakwas tournament. I din't watch this year ipl regularly due to slow pitches. But other than SRH, rest all teams played way better in than these international teams. Lode ka wt20. Rantzz 1

Why are the consolidating now then? Might as well 4 swipes as they have 4 wickets in hand. Or are they trying to take it to 20 overs now? Edited October 23, 2021 by maniac

zen Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 Always find amusing to read about tactics from fans of teams that haven’t won anything recently Reminds me of BD fans who come to every WC as if their team is the champ

Looking at the pitches so far this time it not going to be high scoring as we think.
