I just realized how crappy the scheduling is. We play NZ next and then play all Associate Nations and if we qualify for semis, we are straight away under immense pressure after some potentially easy games!

 

Looks like the potential top 3 have a similar schedule. Wonder why they made up such a horrible schedule for this Group.

Same for all teams including in the other group. It is just that BD and SL got added to the other group to make it relatively tougher.

No, we won't be out exactly. Assuming NZ and Pak keep winning, we will be.

 

So basically, the team will be hoping for other results. Not a good place for an Indian fan either.

They sure can turn around and get to semis as they are in weaker group.Winning whole thing was never a possiblity for this team. I would be suprised if this team does not make semis likewise if they win the whole thing it would be a bigger pleasant surprise.

Do you think Pakistan will not lose one more match rest of the way. NZ is not unbeatable by any means.

Ind’s games v Pak and NZ games are more or less virtual knockouts as other teams in the group are expected to lose to these 3 teams. 
 

Only way is if there is a 3 way tie among Ind-NZ-Pak and/or one of the lesser teams creates upsets.
 

At the start of the group games, these 3 teams should be looking to win both their games, worst case scenario 1 to not have to depend upon a miracle of the other two teams losing to the lesser teams.

First it is not impossible to turn around.pak also came from behind in 1992.Even kapil dev 175 against Zimbabwe started our way back in 1983.even in 2007 we lost to newzealand in group stage but defeated England,SA,AUSand pak to win World Cup  .

but we need proactive captain like imran ,Kapil and dhoni type captains

our brainless captain doesn’t even  know what is the perfect 11.There is a total disconnect between him and the team.

it is not his cup of tea.
