Only time we did well in the world T20 was when we had a younger squad.  In the next final our "experienced" guys let us down.

not true. 2007 we have Sehwag,Yuvraj,Irfan,Bhajji all who were quite experienced.Some others were there for 2-3 years too.

I think age wise weren't they in their 20s? Same Yuvraj was a passenger in the later final.

That squad was not very young, all players from 27-30. But still, it was younger than the team we fielded in other World T20s. So still our youngest team.

In the IPL these inadequacies are masked. Except franchise fans nobody cares even if they fail.  So these things are not factored when they select a squad. They just go for experience based on reputation
