Dubey ain't ripped at all, lacks timing and mistimes 90% of his shots.

Lmao dubey isn't ripped. Neither is marsh. Shaun Marsh is bit of a tank.

Dubey is actually pudgy. He is strong though.

Vijay Shankar is pretty well built lacks natural talent thou I rated him quite highly as a first class batsman during 2017-2018.

Shankar actually a very handy red ball player. Injustice to not pick him. Same thing happened with saini when he was in form and ripping it up in ranji between 2017-2019 ish.

Even Mitch Marsh would not be Mitch Marsh in Indian team. Australians specifically allotted no.3 to do this pinch hitting and asked Marsh to do so,If Marsh had not been successful then Stoinis or any other AR would have been asked to do it. They moved on from Smith at 3 unlike us. For India,no 3 is supposed to be someone who play according to condition. Marsh smashed a first ball six yesterday after an early wicket. Any  Indian no 3 would have seen off 5-7 balls after Opener had fallen cheaply.

Kishan and SKY are an exception to this. But our TM is such that they will tell these guys also to play "safe" and not start hitting from ball 1.

His parents separated and he himself went through depression... unfortunate turn of events

Didn't know that, must have been cumbersome for him to deal with depression

I think Sky is that kind of striker. He also doesn't hold back, problem is he has given chance in one match than dropped than played kishan and dropped him to then again dropped both of them and played thakur and finally dropped thakur also and brought sky again. How can anyone will be successful in these scenario.

Did TM saying anything like that , what makes you think that they have asked them to play safe. Did TM also told SKY to chase a wide against Pakistan. Stop blaming TM for everything .

Not sure but he can be devastating if given a specific role. We all know what he did in his last few matches in CSK this IPL. He too like many others have the tendency to play for themselves rather then the team once in the International side.Time is over for him anyways
