rollingstoned Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 There are many reasons but after the dust has settled and I've calmed down, fatigue and constantly being on the road for these many months has taken its toll. When required also the chops didn't fall in our favor ie toss and the match schedule. Good icc campaigns are as much about perfect storms as they are about putting together an efficient unit. On paper Australia look to.me a more flawed T20 team than us but they managed to win the whole thing.
deepdynamo Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 Lack of role clarity and continuity. Pick the last 20 T20 matches prior to world cup and you will see many players who were backed for certain positions and continuously picked but then later dumped or their positions changed.
deepdynamo Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 For the next T20 world cup or even ODI world cup, the one think I definitely want is consistency in selection and back the right players and give them game time. If in ODI, Dhawan-Rohit-Kohli-Rahul-Pant is your top 5 then they must play all ODI games at those positions for good two years. Simultaneously, we must groom ready replacements for these 5 positions in case of any injury. Paddikal-Shaw-Gill-Sky-Kishan can be your backup. In T20s, we can be even more adventurous but stick to backed players for consistent period of time and define their role and position. Similarly, we need to identify bowlers for both ODI and T20 and persist with them.

However top 3 who failed EVERY single time is not to blame because they feasted on minnows later Bhuvi, who bowled 3 overs in the entire series is to blame for the loss And such an obvious agenda driven paid PR post is upvoted here. So how can you blame management or BCCI when fans thinking itself is rotten and designed to protect super stars over talented youngsters? If you read proper, I did say Top order needs to sort itself out You mean I can actually get paid for these posts? How do I sign up? So is the superstar protection like a monthly membership model or should I ask for a yearly retainer?

If you watched his inning, many of his shots were stopped by brilliant NZ fielding including a 6 that was reduced to a 2 by a superb effort. Got out going for a 6 ... putrevus Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 Toss and scheduling. Overnight Indian players did not become bad players. India is top4 team in all formats and to win the cup you need some luck. Rohit and Kohli should quit playing in t20s sooner than later.

One needs to play SDP in the top 4 in T20s so Ind is not in such positions and he can single handedly win games In the longer formats, he has many 80s and 90s.
putrevus Posted November 15, 2021 Posted November 15, 2021 The more we keep hacks like Pandya away from this team , the better it will be for the team in all formats moving forward.Test team is prime example once this hack was kicked out it instantly became 100 times better.
