That 101 is more like the total that England puts up these days. They were up against a side that had no Hazlewood, Cummins. Still collapsed. This is like gazillionth collapse in recent times. Ever since they collapsed against Ireland they have been collapsing left/right/center.

We are not much better under trimurti

Ponting himself was no tactical genius. Struggled big time once ATGs retired. He had the distinction of losing the Ashes at home and away. He was so bad that "bring back Warnie" was a popular theme for quite a while, with fans demanding a retired Warne to come back and lead Australia. That being said, this English team is an embarrassment and turned the Ashes into a sorry spectacle. Root is probably mentally worn out from carrying a crap team. He should step aside and let someone else lead.

USA vs Ireland Match Prediction This will be the first time the USA will be hosting a full member for a series and they will be eager to show their mettle against Ireland. The visitors have plenty of experienced players who could make a difference in this match. Ireland are thus expected to start the T20I series with a win. Prediction: Ireland to win this encounter. He said same stuff when india got cooked in adelaide. Spoke about Shaw and all. Common tactics. This is then accentuated by their perenniel cricket writers Peter Laylor and Malcom Conn. The way india shut them off in brisbane was the apt reply. If poms can do this they ll shut up.. dont think they can.. actually of all the

players its cameron green who is making the difference.. really good bowler he is turning out to be. India feasted on him in the beginning of year.. now he is bowling more fuller..

Poms have to shut up their own media now first. Man to Man India was a very weak side on paper. For heavensake we used T20 players like Natrajan, Sundar, Thakur with no options. You would think Natrajan/Thakur combo is far inferior to any of the fast bowling English combo. It was one of those dream series where everything fell in place.

yes, green is bowling much better. but his batting has taken a dip. in the series against us, he made some vital contributions with the bat.

I remember Warne n Co were ripping into Australian team on day 4 at Gabba vs India.  They wanted an ultra quick declaration lmao:phehe: only Mark waugh was talking sense as he said they would get bowled out cheaper if they went too hard.

Aussie commies turn against their own very quickly as things go south & rip through opposition when they are on their knees.   Guess that's their sports psyche is all about.  Give no quarter whatsoever.

Ponting is 100% right, captain cannot blame anyone else for the short coming. If bowlers are not doing what he is asking them to do then they are not playing anymore.

As a captain you have to own your shortcomings.Once you start giving excuses then you are out, Kohli has started doing that that is why he needs to go as a captain.

Coach and captain have to own their short comings if they don't then they cannot be doing the captain and coach.

Root n Broad have given contrasting statements.  I think Broad & Anderson hold lot of power in their dressing room & perhaps they have issues there.

Big issue. Broad is england s ashwin. Open and comes down heavily when he is not selected. Just after gabba test he openly said he is disappointed not to be picked. He did it in tour of india as well..the thing is indian media will spend gazillions of reaction youtube stories, all pakistani cricketer will give their nobody asks for views on these things which ashwin said.. england media will do nothing except for tabloid s like daily mail ( feeds on even carcasses) .. and england team will go on with their business..

How did Ponting struggle as captain after ATGs retired. After Warne and Mcgrath retired Aussies still went on 16 game winning streak which ended in Perth 2008.To expect him to be having same success like before is asking bit too much.

No they didn't. Warne retired in 2006-07 Ashes. After that they won 2 matches against Lanka and 2 against indi at home and lost at Perth. Next year they lost home series against south africa.
