Yuzvendra Chahal ahead of mega auction : 8 crore is enough for me, don't want 15-17 cr, says !!!

From reports, RCB could have budgeted 7-8 crore for him and Harshal (would be hoping to get at least one of them. If one of them is sold, the budget for the remaining one could increase)  ... So other teams may have to budget more to get them

RCB have understood the formula of MI n CSK and so has DC, consistency among players so all of them will try to back their most players. This is where other teams need to push them n empty their purses

Other teams probably can safely bid till 6-7 cr, knowing that RCB is likely to go with 7-8cr. At the auction, Harshal turn will be first, Chahal's 2nd so it would be interesting. Most likely RCB may not overbid for Harshal and wait for Chahal, who has been with them for a long time :hmmm:

 

Similarly, teams should bid fearlessly for Kishan, knowing that MI could go to 10 cr without thinking much (unless they get QdK, who is to be auctioned first as a part of marquee players)

they ll all go for chahal so he can get a bidding war coz wrist spinners are in and fanchise wants to have foreign players for fast bowlers, all rounders or high s/r batsman.............they try to get indian spinner mostly so chahal will be high on demand

That Afghan U19 chinaman Noor Ahmed will fetch a decent sum,  also maybe Shamsi as well. 

hasaranga wud fetch good amount, shamsi is one skill so i doubt

Rahul chahar n yuzi wud since they are indian players

Noor Ahmed can bat Rashid Khan style & is rumored to be on the radar for many franchises.  Hasaranga will be a quality addition as well. 

R Chahar Markande Gopal will go at similar range I reckon.

markhande i doubt, already out of favour from every where

gopal has also lost it

Markande did well in Vijay Hazare much much better than Chahal in fact.  Decent SMAT as well. 

In IPl 2021 he didn't get many chances in Rajasthan team as Gopal was preferred. 

Franchises which need Indian wrist spinners will definitely spend bucks on him.  I think SRH & DC will target him or Rahul Chahar.

Yup. He gets lots of unnecessary stick. Every spinner gets hit. He's still our most consistent white ball spinner. But doesn't help that he's completely useless with the bat and in fielding.

markandeya needs to play for Ind A soon IMO. he is better at 50-over cricket than Bishnoi and Rahul Chahar at this stage of the career IMO. Plus, he can field decently and is a useful lower-order batter

exactly ...bowlers in white ball have become easy targets now n every gets hit around even the best.

Adil rashid avg 33 who is considered one of the top wrist spinners , shamsi also 33, hasaranga 37 ...........it hasnt been easy for spinners specially 

 

One dimensional problem isnt just with yuzi . Yuzi also is most developed wrist spinner

 

Bishnoi is as of now just googly reliant

rahul chahar lacks good googly and isnt good on slow wkts

gopal is done

mishra slow in air

kuldeep - dnt even get me started

he was limited to googly only hence found out. currently chahar n bishnoi have gone ahead 

teams work out and thats where ur test begins

Yes still only 24..  Doing well in domestic cricket is good start by him.  A a good showing at IPl will put him back in contention.  He had flaws with his leg spinner wasn't as developed when he first came.  Looks like he has improved on.  I remember Chahal used to be mediocre at his age.  Leg spin takes a while to master.  Bishnoi also as of now is a googly merchant but his speed & zip makes him a great T20 prospect.  Eager to see if he has developed leg spin as well.  He was trying flippers in last IPl season from time to time.
