maniac Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Didn’t have good knuckle balls. Don’t rate him. #RTT Mosher, nevada, sage and 2 others 1 3 1
zen Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Have not watched the video yet but Brett is among my favorite LOI bowlers … Overall, a great cricketer as well for his excellent fielding and useful batting down the order (still remember the last ball 6 he hit against Ind in a series in Aus to help Aus win the game.) He used to slip in a crooked quick one every once in a while. His action is a bit shady and controversial, being called out for chucking by the Kiwis, the English Barmy Army etc. Plus there was the nasty beamer against Tendulkar which was very much a controlled delivery. He has milked a lot out of India, doing modeling and collaborating with Asha Bhonsle on a song, etc but on the cricket field he has been a ahwole. He once unleashed a barrage of short balls to injure Rahul Dravid as he was chasing down the target in the 4th innings.

Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk Akthar was one of the most unplayable bowlers in tests when he fired on all cylinders. Still recall his spell versus India at Kol and then one against Aus in a test in SL, where he looked like taking a wkt of almost every ball.

It was not last ball six.
