Khwaja/Labuschagne/Head/Green/Carey vs Renshaw/Marsh brothers/Handscomb/Maxwell/Wade But we got rid of purane. Sundar Gill will come back in MO. Bowling is so much stronger with bumrah and soraj. Shami rotation. Prasidh. Will be a mouth watering clash. I have been saying for a while. Only Australia can compete with this Indian side in India. Or in most places tbh at full strength. It's easily Aussies second greatest team. People who have never played cricket don't have an iota of knowledge about the abilities of this Aussie side. They are a formidable side. They would trash the best teams of yesteryears especially 90s pak etc in Australia and compete well in Pakistan. Only Ponting's Aussie side was better, the great w.indies team, India of 2006-2011. I wouldn't even say smith's saffer is better as they have lost to Clarke's weak Aussie team at home despite winning away. India of 2015- present is a great side and up there with top 5 best sides of all time. This Aussie side are very slightly inferior to us.
Nikola Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 How come pakistan is getting this much reverse? @Jay ball tampering?

But Aussies reversed when bowl was just 20 overs old which is definitely suspicious. Especially when you factor in convict genes. Paks I don't know. They need all the help they can possibly get right now.

Btw i have seen shami & umesh reverse 8 overs old ball back in 2016/17 series (Eng tour of india) Edited March 22, 2022 by Nikola
putrevus Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Green is going to be very good player. He just needs confidence at this level. He has very good technique also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We ain't convicts or peasants like the Aussies and paks. 20 is still early. Atleast 30 overs. Needs that many overs to naturally rough one side up. Maybe older balls weren't designed to have a prominent seam. Not sure. But I am always sceptical about these 2 countries. Very dodgy players. It's even been proven they are scams and cheaters. So.....yea.

Old Australian team which had mcgrath, warne didn't need reverse to get opposition out. Jay 1

Pujara and Rahane(didnt score many runs but delivered at important times) actually did quite well in that series. Rahul was very good and Jadeja played some important knocks. Kohli Vijay etc were woefully out of form. Our only centurions in that series were Pujara and Saha of all people. Point is we need our top order to score hundreds, something which we weren't able to do against SL. 4 of Rohit/Agarwal/Rahul/Vihari/Gill/Kohli will occupy those positions. Who among them are the prolific century getters on current form? I thought Rohit was getting into a good test match groove after the England series but he squandered some good starts against Lanka. Rahul hasn't made that transition to world beater yet and god knows when he will make it. Vihari with all his composure has only 1 hundred to show for in his whole career . Gill has none but he needs more opportunities. Agarwal actually did score a hundred against NZ but he may not even be selected. And Kohli is, to put it mildly, past his best. Iyer,Pant and Jadeja are currently looking much more dependable and that is one area where we are sorted. Bumrah and Shami/Siraj have to be at their best though. In 2017 Umesh had put on a career best performance without which we may have lost.

Warne is a legit decent lad. Mcgrath is a crafty old fox. He was sly. He gets away with subtle cheating. His tricks would be discovered in modern era with cameras etc. Great bowler but he did get some decisions in his favour quite often. Except vs pakistan lmao.

Then world class legit top tier bowlers like bumrah and shami can hit them harder. I am concerned only about our batting. If you go by your logic you can say without Cummins. Forget about everyone else. Just without Cummins Aussies would have lost 4 0 to us in 2021 or 3 -1. And definitely 4 0 in 2018. But yea our batting has sucked. We are making changes. Which we will I believe. Lot of young ins will come through. Sarfraz is waiting in lines. He is gun. Gill is gun. Iyer vihari all good at home. But yea 2 of the best teams easily. If we are the 4th best team of all time then this Aussie team is easily 5th. They are only slightly inferior to us.
Suhaan Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Shaheen clearly chucked here with this short delivery to Starc Mosher 1

We all talk highly of Babar, shafique, Rizwan. Shaheen is decent nothing more, his new ball skills are top notch but his stock ball after new ball is pretty harmless and yes he has a suspect action, the arm straightens at delivery point.
Norman Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Lol Aussies collapsing. And as I was speaking lyon too gone.
Norman Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) This Naseem shah can be an asset in dry subcontinent conditions with low bounce due to his short stature. But don't see him doing much on truer SENA wickets. Edited March 22, 2022 by Norman raki05 and Forward Defence 2

Jay Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 What is this nonsense about sena wickets being true wickets lmao. It's just as hard to bowl yorkers as it is to bowl bouncers.

Lone Wolf Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Naseem has bowled good speeds throughout this match. 144-145 most of the times. This is good for his test ambitions. Lassan was trundling bowling 128-130 kph pies
