Our team is pretty tough to beat in home conditions. Even greatest sides of WI & Aus will struggle to win series against our current side. Probably an best test all time xi has chance.

 

I feel if we give flat pitch and opposition wins toss and bats first they do have good chance. England proved it last year. You have to score 500+ though and bowl really well to restrict india around 350 for any chance of winning test.

Will be tough series...  India needs to drop deadwoods & play aggressive players.  Pujara Vihari should be gone for good.

After the last series you have to say India are better, that's just the results. 

Australia has underperformed though honestly. Player for player it had a stronger side than India in every test match of the series they absolutely bottled it in the application.  But all 4 of the last series since 2015 could have easily gone either way. And its been by far the best test cricket in that time.

Australia will be better prepared this time than last time ( except for smith slump).
Head, Green and Carey are much better batsman now with experience.

Only weak spot is second spinner- don't think swepson will cut it here.

vs middle order (Pant can bat unlike anybody else), all rounders, Ashwin is the best spinner in the world, more squad depth - India B is probably stronger than the first 11 most of the time because of convoluted selection

Fast bowlers are NOT better. Lol. That's the main reason why we won. Our fast bowlers. That is our first choice bowlers, of which 2 missed the entire series are definitely better. 

Yes their batting is superior no doubt because we choose wrong players.

 

Bowling definitely isn't better. 100% our attack is more complete and better overall. They may have slight edge due to height in those conditions but we have more skill and we are just as hostile if not more.
