Why would any one want the Indian Pm to study at Oxford ,that's fecking retarded .That's like having the Brit establishment educated and trained in China or Russia :hysterical:.No wonder we are a shithole.

GandhiNehru did, hence the foreign educated means PM material.

Don’t trust Rishi. Will vote Liz Truss.

Those who are confused about why Boris is out, Answer lies in BREXIT. All the parties , party MPs and its voters are divided on BREXiT and has camped accordingly. Anti BREXIT conservatives were silenced because Boris won with thumping mandate but they kept working round the clock to chuck him out.

Boris got Boris chucked out and it was done by BREXIT Conservative MPs . Boris was on last chance saloon after the vote of no confidence but he just couldn't help himself by lying again .

Doesn't have to be Oxford but the leader of India should have studied at one of the top universities of India and done well, not obtaining a 3rd class degree.

having lived there for enough time, unless things have changed greatly, I don't see Brits voting someone into power who is derived from one of their colonies - rishi in this case (plus the "controversy" surrounding his wife). add to that the desire to have more women representation, I have a feeling that someone like Liz Truss would have a good chance.

We underestimate Rishi. Like many Indians, they are quite submissive and docile, and lack true leadership skills and mindset. We see it with Indian origin CEOs, and majority of political leaders. Like how many political leaders here, are face of vested interest groups. Rishi could easily win it by being the compromise candidate, and being remote controlled.

Its anti BRExIT Conservatives who punished Boris. BREXIT is already done. There is no need for those who aligned with Boris during pro BREXIT days not to aspire and play politics.

scandals are Just politics. BREXiTers have reset themselves and that makes sense

Last two in the race to get 180000 CP membership

I don't like big government deficits, in that way sunak seems better, His competitor wants socialism and no taxes. Sunak seems more intelligent than most leaders around the world . Also he was the one, as finance minister, doing deficit spending during pandemic like most governments of  the world i didn't appreciate that but to some extent it was required during pandemic.

Anyone but Sunak. I won't be able to handle Indian media if he is chosen. And I am not sure if this whiter than white Indian is in India's best interest.

Conservatives are any day better for India than PTI-UK aka Labour Party

Why do these first world master race types come to a third world forum ?

Common theme among the son of sardar and the occasional jhand master here, parents or themselves immigrated to some western nation and they act all superior about it & then demand how India run itself from paying their fellow sardarji to not criticize their crush, thus revealing their intellectual bankruptcy.

Typical, can't handle any constructive criticism. Now go and burn an effigy of me.

funny, when its agenda driven. I don't do any of the burning, hope you don't fancy killing a prime minister, waging war against my country or blowing up an airliner.

++, Same for USA I guess...maybe I am uneducated here, but I think republicans are somewhat better for India than democrats...i find democrats/liberals somewhat hypocritical...

Also , it's all relative, a conservative in US/UK is more liberal than 90% Muslims countries...

Liz Truss is termed favorite to win according to bookies & almost every single polls.

However I expect Sunak to gaslight her during debates as he seems rather cunning & has his way of words.

It is expected both in a way will rip apart Tories in coming days...  Which the main foe from Labour won't mind.

Personally feels like only Sunak can beat him.  This Truss seems like a batsh** crazy woman.  Reports also said labour will more likely want to see her win.

Apparently, they are better for Pakistan, too.

Amid strained ties between the United States and Pakistan, a new report has revealed that Afghanistan was not the reason for US President Joe Biden's unfriendliness against Pakistan. Former Pakistan Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik revealed that Joe Biden was miffed with Pakistan for its partisan role in favour of former US President Donald Trump during the 2020 US election campaign.

If that’s the reason, he should be more miffed with Modi, what’s with Howdy Modi and Gujarat sair of Trump campaign. The UK Labour Party infiltration of Pakistanis and Kashmiri separatists is a total different scenario in UK
