He received a lot of criticism after their flop show this season.

that's idiotic criticism coz its no team can win every year , next guy to him has captained more seasons and yet one behind him

Did anyone recall that Bumrah slower delivery that completely fooled Ollie Robinson in that famous test match which we won courtesy Bumrah and Siraj late wickets. Only 9 overs were left that day. Bowled a similar delivery today to Livingstone. Should have bowled that delivery to Bairstow when he was new to crease in the manhoos last test. He didn't try that. :wall:

Umran can learn slower ball like Ferguson/ Archer.

Harshal has 1-3 variations tough to read but will eventually be found out.

that’s the problem.

yea he can but let him first

Also i know umran will be a long race horse and will develop his skill with new ball to but in present not the case. Also doesnt mean to disregard harshal on pointless basis of pace whereas its length

I want both in squad to use them acc to pitches opposition n matchups.

Also about variation - t20 is a lot of about variation of length n pace rather then just being one pace

When u atalk about archer n lockie- archer is a complete bowler and lockie lacks skills with new ball which is why he has caused headaches for his selection be it KKR or GT so even someone like lockie has limitation and likewise umran struggles with new ball so he also has limitation. If harshal relies on variation which is far more expanding topic then it seems then umran also just relies on Pace so both are limited in their own ways .

Count the numbers of players who has issues against high pace in top side ull find very few names and those guys wud also be ppl who mostly has issues against a certain length (key word is always length)

Its not harshal now i have allergy how ppl disregard guys like harshal, chahar, bhuvi ............yes they ll have bad days but so will others . What Umran or other XYZ will be in future is great but present cant be ignored specially when Wc is on head . Also when u make a squad u need every kind of option. For all his limitation harshal did bumrah death over role in last few series quite well..................kyun gaali du main usko . If something happens to bumrah man we wud need harshal

I want all variation in squad

umran- pace

harshal- variation bowler

Arshdeep - left armer

I find both wrong to go after umran or harshal after bad games- its t20 they are allowed to and they are ur better choices atleast patience with them

but why compare n disregard other .

Rohit suggested Bumrah bowling a slower one in one of the Tests in Australia at the stroke of lunch. He completely bamboozled Shaun Marsh who was trapped in front.

Deepak C has a way more upside than Harshal. Harshal is more of an Axar type tulla. Thakur has natural hand eye coordination and talent but in LOIs doesn’t have the temperament. Chahar has a proper batting temperament. That’s why I prefer him and with new ball can be as deadly as Bhuvi in suitable conditions. There is only place for 1 or Harshal-Thakur and Chahar and my preference is Chahar .

In t20 I prefer Harshal over Thakur in ODIs Thakur is better.

If you are a trundler then you better have McGrath level bounce or ability to move the ball or say someone like air's ability to flick his wrists and move at decent pace.

Don't have either? Don't bother playing.

Just look at Aussie attack

Stoinis at 6

Maxwell at 7

Cummins at 8

Starc at 9

Hazelwood 10

Zampa 11

Follow same blueprint.

Pandu at 6

Chahar at 7

Harshal at 8

bhubi at 9

Bunrah at 10

Umran at 11

Not really, India could (not necessarily that it should) play Thakur/D Chahar at #7 & Harshal at #8 ... Harshal-Thakur-D Chhar-x selection issue only comes if competing for #8 (say Jadeja is #7) and the type of the mix of 3 other bowlers: For e.g. if

a) Ind has Bumrah-Bhuvi-Yuzi, then Harshal makes sense as the 4th bowler (as D Chahar is similar to Bhuvi)

b) Ind has Bumrah-Umran/Avesh-Yuzi, then D Chahar has an opportunity as the powerplay bowler

c) etc.

The eventual choice depends upon who the other bowlers are and the form as the tournament nears

6 right handed seamers is an overkill and it will be predictable. Not like opposition will shut the shop. They will target loose bowlers. Need a spinner.  Zampa is the biggest match winner in Australian  T20 history.  Zampa has played in 32 win of Australia. 52 wickets  ER 5.79  Strike rate 13.9. That is en anviable record.

Just as an example. Ideally I would have mohsin umran and bumrah.

We don't have goodnspinners. I would go with bish he can bat.

Hint of early swing,   And bazball gets punctured in the most bizarre fashion for the 2nd consecutive time.   :hysterical:

PS: Bazball is too dependent on Bairstow (maybe)

Bish batting useless in T20. As good as every other tailender. Also predictable bowler. Chahal and Kuldeep are better than him as a bowler given that Bishnoi has only one type of ball. He has to develop conventional leg spin in order to be effective. Otherwise they will treat him like an inswing bowler. Kuldeep has stunning career record in T20 internationals.
