Shades of both Javed and Inzi  in this innings from Babar. If he keeps doing this he is going to be their best batsman after Inzi.

why next best after Inzi? Inzi didn't do a whole lot in SENA in Tests. Javed is better than Inzi, even though he too didn't do that great overseas.

Babinho (Babar) has a chance to overtake both if he continues to push on.

have to say that this was a world-class knock by babar. now, they need to find batting support for him - namely, humayun, akbar, jahangir, and shah jajan - and then Pak can become a genuine world contender batting-wise.

Javed was  better than Inzi but he was before Inzi. Inzi did well again WI in WI when they had very good fast bowling.Dravid did very poor in SL and SA.Does it make Dravid a poor batsman.

I don't agree with this SENA nonsense,

I don't agree with this SENA nonsense,

in the 90s, it would be SA+WI+Oz. however, SA and Oz were hard to deal with even then. the term SENA is not nonsense. it is shorthand for performing in alien conditions for SC batters, i.e., pitches with seam, swing, or bounce.

Also, please don't put words in my mouth. I didn't call Inzi or Dravid a poor batsman. If anything, since you used the word, you seem to be intimating that they are.

All I said was Babar has chance to best batsman after Inzi. You only brought up the rest.In my book doing well in few countries other than home should be enough to show greatness.Inzi did very well against WI and NZ.He was okay in England.Only places he did not do well are Australia and SA. I just used Dravid as example as you brought up SENA.

It can happen to any batsman. You play in a certain country once is four years.

I have seen enough of Babar to know he is not going to be better batsman than Javed.Javed was truely a great batsman.

agree... that's why I was comparing babar with javed, because the latter is typically seen as the benchmark for Pak batters. hence, one would judge other pak batters against him

I agree Javed is their benchmark. But he needs to be better than Inzi to reach Javed.
