 His heighest ICC ranking 8 way back in 2017. After 2018 he never entered the top 10. That is 7 years.

when rohit was captain and him and kolhi rested/dropped after aus t20i wc, rohit and dravid went behind hardik's back asking selectors to make kl the captain for NZ tour.

 

right now he seems to get all the attention when team loses, if he is out of the team the attention will fall on rohit and kolhi
