Australia and England has already announced their squads.

Australia have Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood, Richardson and two allrounders in Stonis and M Marsh.

England have Wood, Topley, Woakes, Jordan, Willey and two allrounders in Sam Curran and Stokes.

Who will be in India squad ?

Bumrah
Bhuvi
Harshal
Arshdeep
Chahar
Pandya

Trundler brigrade...Looks poor :wall:

Shami or Siraj can be surprise pick but then what happens to continuity, role and game time that this team has been practicing.

Bad feeling again about this world cup. Like last time we again have no team clarity.

Shami needs to be there considering it is in Australia, with new ball he can get breakthroughs.

Apart from Bumrah rest are trundlers. Pandya is a luxury, some days he is good some days not, also Pandya should be played as part of 6 man bowling attack not 5.

shami has been a big big failure in t20i , his eco is 11 in Aus

Shami has played just 1 T20I in Australia.

Statistics of 1 match has very low statistical significance.

bhuvi is and shud be must, in PP he is too good

He had very good ODI series in Aus in 2019 I think.

So yes, he gets my vote above Harshal.

you can argue that only if his whole career pointed at something else

ill take that logic for someone like bumrah incase of a bad game but shami t20 records only speaks one things that he always goes for runs be it any phase or any condition.

I am not arguing about any other thing in that post.

Just saying that stats for 1 match means very little and there is no point in quoting it.

I have never seen fraud Bhuvi achieving anything in his career so far. Though I have seen him getting massacred by tailenders many a time. Fraud experts calling him best in powerplay just one match thrashing by Pakistani make him all phase expert to pp expert. Stats experts will fool you with stats as if crickets are played on xl sheets. Bhuvi would again shot in some crucial match and these fraud exper ll say aah it's just one bad match look at his stats.
