Kohli is unnecessary dragging himself in this format. His shot selection in 3rd match looks as if he deliberately wants to get out. Unless our TM and selectors would take strong decision on senior player like Kohli and mediocre cricketers like bhuvi and chahal we would always be mediocre.

Main issue is wrong player at wrong no and wrong format,pant isnt ur no 5 he is should open or shouldn't play,kl should play at 4 or shouldn't play kohli shouldn't play hooda should be in ur top 4 or shouldn't play Hardik should be used as finisher at no 5,dk atm needs to be ur no 6,sky at 3,that leads to no 7,since jaddu wont be available for wt20 axar isn't fit to be no 7 as well as harshal,so should we go with tewatiya or someone else

The way kohli batted today against Afghanistan is how any top 3 needs to bat . 5 sixes . sweep shots etc

Kishen has even done better then pant in IPL, his international numbers look better coz he got the best position to bat - open

kishan is 40 percent but uses his brains in t20 to maximise that. pant only uses 25 percent of his brains in t20

The MO is a problem, not Kohli who had a decent tournament considering expectations in the context of his form. Styris mentioned it yday that pandya, pant, hooda and Sky combined have a paltry average with a strike rate of around 115 which is damning. You won't win much when you alloy that with how one leg spinner is always being outbowled by his counterpart in the opposition and a spearhead is conceding 10+ runs consistently at the death.

agree about pant - hooda sky and pandya have been decent recently . think removing pant and getting is a left hander will be a huge plus . jadeja is crucial in so many ways to the team balance is seen in this context.
