The only good buy among this shitshow is Stokes as the owners are potentially seeing a captain and inspirational leader in him once Dhongi is retired but we shall see. Not long ago he had mental issues.. :dontknow:

If he is very smart about it he should be fully committed to CSK much like Bravo is. He is settled for next  5 or 6 years. Just 2 months of show makes so much money. Whatever they offer are like peanuts for CSK franchise.

For once a decent auction, but buying Rahane spoilt the fun.

Rahane and Stokes in Dhoni's team. Looks like the RPSG combination again.

 

The combination looks okay. Heavily form based.. can be hit or miss

Stokes is a dedicated countrymen. He doesn't  give a damn about IPL. But franchise like CSK and MI can be very family type and players usually get emotionally invested in such franchisees.

Yes. They back you as long as possible. THey won't drop you randomly. Most of these guys have been playing for so long. It was such a difficult decision they had to make to let Raina go.
