Reminds me of the Netflix Flat Earthers Documentary... where they do all these experiments to discredit the globe only to end up proving it is indeed round.

 

This whole fiasco is just like that. Every Image they shared (Ignoring the made up dynamics in their head) proves that it is INDEED a no ball.

 

Batsmen foot touching the crease.

Ball above waist height during contact.

Batsman upright while playing the ball.

 

This just might be the Javed Miandad moment for them. Will take decades to recover...

What law, this is not a stumping or a bowler's no-ball for the foot should be behind the line? The above-waist is not for referral, it is left to on-field real-time interpretation. That is the law. So, fight to get it changed. Don't cry over some imaginary law that the foot has to be behind the line to be considered above the waist. So, if the foot is not behind and the bowler hits a person's head, does it mean it was not a beamer?
