nitinbwj Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 If both our games get washed out and Pak win their remaining games, pak go through

In that scenario, Zim might pip both teams

That is what is in the tournament rules. So the result shown is actually correct. nitinbwj, zen and Norman 2 1
SM2907 Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 India - win and go through SA - win and go through Pak - win and hope one of India / SA do not win

SA where they have their matches rained out which they would have won. nitinbwj 1
nitinbwj Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 (edited) Again a must win game on Sun? Now they won't play Pant again Edited November 3, 2022 by nitinbwj

Simple rained out game is enough to get us through. If there is a game. we will have to win it to be 100% sure. Otherwise we will fight out on NRR with Pak or BD or SA (if their match is rained out) BacktoCricaddict 1

Dil Dil India Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 It is T20 and unpredictable and everything but if the matches happen then there is virtually no chance of SA or India losing. Netherlands batting line up is horrible, they struggle to make 120. Zimbabwe barely qualified and just dropped a match to Netherlands. Yes they beat Zimbabar's team in Perth but I suspect even people straight from a retirement home could bounce out Rizbab in Perth.
nitinbwj Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 It's India and the opponents wait for us to create a name for themselves especially Minnows. Raza gave us a tough time recently also scored a ton i think. He is the danger man. I can see him tonking Bhuvis ans Ashwins all day. India can't afford any slipups now. They conceded 66 in 6 FFS.
Stan AF Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 So unless disaster strikes an india vs england & SA vs NZ semis are the most likely matches right???
Stan AF Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 IMO, don't see SA doing well against both eng or nz

One hope is since Dravid/ Rohit believe in matchups & DK probably had a better record against them. But let’s see.
Strangering Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Bangla will beat Pakistan. Bookmark this post. That Pakistan middle order shows up once every 10 games. Their shiney moment is over. SM2907 and Nash 1 1
